My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

To which I have to wonder, the Starfield engine? Yeah, it failed at making a space-sim game, what a shocker, but...what if they took that engine and did this: Repurposed it to generate areas on a full-scale map of Tamriel or the USA post-Great War. You could start anywhere you wished; random...

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

My recommendation: Watch Jericho. It didn't inspire Fallout, but it's still worth watching over the show we got.

The Fallout TV show is way sexier than the games [Kotaku]

I'm not surprised Kotaku liked the show, and is peddling the XXX aspects. There's all kinds of degenerate things that crowd likes that Fallout never explicitly showed, for good reason, until this show.

Upcoming 76 Expansion Adds TV Series' Ghoul Serum To The Lore

Between that 'flaw' and the suits not letting the pilots out if the Fusion Core is removed... No real army would allow those flaws on such expensive tech, but this is Bethesda so it's probably another 'ha ha ha' thing they thought up.

Upcoming 76 Expansion Adds TV Series' Ghoul Serum To The Lore

As best I can tell from this video, since like hell am I installing 100+ GIGs of data on my XBOX again, and paying for Gold as well. The dialogue will be out in full soon after release I'm sure. The addition of that substance, which was essentially Zombrex from Dead Rising 2, into Fallout...

Goddammit, I hate being wrong - showrunners fucked New Vegas

Given we now have AI voice generation, making an overhaul of those parts of the games is far easier than it used to be. Thing is, most people who play F3 anymore, even though Bethesda 'patched it' to work on Win 10 finally, do it with Tale of Two Wastelands, which requires New Vegas. So, we'd...

Fallout: Van Buren Worldbook (FINISHED - Map and PDF inside)

Love it. Gonna give this a read ASAP.

    Fallout: The Frontier trailer

Gotta admit, this looks cool. The physics engine is already fun with the Anti-Material and Gauss rifles. Vehicles would make it more so.

Fallout 76: The Review (Base + Wastelanders + Steel Dawn)

Would be interesting, and I've heard Bethesda might do a follow-up on this expansion, but to be honest they likely won't bother with anything that makes sense. If they're retconning the first game from '97, they've already crossed the proverbial Rubicon.

Fallout 76: The Review (Base + Wastelanders + Steel Dawn)

UPDATE: I'm done with Steel Dawn's Main Quest. Posted below is my walkthrough/review of the questline and what I saw. If there is a discrepancy with the lore that I missed or got wrong, let me know. ----------------------------------------------------- Well, here we are again. It's been a...

You're telling me. Cyberpunk, MS buying Zenimax, the beer bug... We'll have our work cut out for us.

    New Vegas 10th Anniversity Podcast

At the moment, we're still debating when to do the next podcast. The 26th is a bit close to Christmas; January 2nd gives us a reason to discuss the year in review, which should be nice and meaty.

    Cyanide's Werewolf: The Apocalypse

Going by that trailer, I can see why they were so hesitant to show gameplay until now. Without the branding of Werewolf: The Apocalypse, you'd be hard-pressed to identify its source material and instead identify it just by the gameplay styles. In this case, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Devil May...

Here's the podcast video. Apologies for it taking so long to get made. Been pulling a lot of overtime at work thanks to people leaving while the coronavirus keeps giving us more work to do.

It was all about that whale meat. Nothing else.

Plus who among their stable of companies has made a turn-based tactical RPG? New engine = loads more problems.

NMA Presents Lore-Based Loading Screens for Fallout: New Vegas?

85... That's a lot of options, but doable. And I have to agree on cutting the obvious ones you marked. Most of those I don't look at anymore.

I noticed a lot of that as well, and it's mostly why I was quick to grab a shotgun early on. That and ammo now has weight and can't be sold to NPC vendors, plus 1,000+ shells aren't going to expend themselves. But after New Vegas, I can't see Bethesda willingly hiring the men who trounced their...

Glad you liked it, and that I could save you some hours/money. When those new changes go live however, I'll be sure to add to this as needed. Otherwise, it's either because they're friendly with them, or tend to favor their attempts to damage gaming culture.

It's been that way for years. 76 just proved how sunk in the issue was.
