Yeah, I wish more developpers/publishers had the courage to cut a big part of the game on each playthrough despite the fact that some players might never see this content. On another note, playign Jade Empire made me realize again how tired I am of traditionnal good/evil moral systems.

I'm not sure if I would say that Witcher 2 is better in every way. I haven't finished it yet since I stopped at the middle of Chapter 2 for some reason, but there's just something unique about the atmosphere of the first one. Also, I really liked the structure of the second chapter in it too...

Anyone here played Jade Empire? I go it for free on Origin a few months ago and I'm planing on starting a game soon, and the philosophy of the Closed Fist path seems interesting, though it is mostly thuggish evil from what I've heard...

Most people on Redditnactually think the review is spot on or agree with some points. Of course, there are those who accuse the author of using his opnion as facts... EDIT: People dismissing it and accusing the reviewer of being an Obsidian fanboy on the Bethesda forum are quite hilarious.
