Is it necesary to change all the encounter chanses in awaken too? Edit: what file would that be?

i had problems installing Fallout tactics, i could not complete the installation, when it asked about installing directx i could not click the button to do so, so i ended it and the fot installation canceled too. Some files in the fot root cataloug is missin, for example ft tools, but the game...
