Mmm, one could easily make an USAS-12 for instance without even having to make new animations when the tools are out.
Maybe I will
For now, as I have the model, I'll ditch the quick edit I did previously and redo the texture completely.
Does somebody know a way of making the game load custom BSAs? I can't hack the textures.bsa so I though it'd be probably easier to make my own one and force the game to load it.
Well I managed to get the texture for the combat shotgun and half of the model (I still need the magazine texture, help me out pls) and decided to try and spruce it up a bit, here's what I've got so far:
It's not horribly much but I can't work wonders without having the whole model
Can somebody shoot the combat shotgun's magazine texture my way?
BTW, having looked at BSA commander's logs, it says 'ERR: Corrupt" for all the textures. Any ideas?
I dunno, I quite like Fallout 3. Of course it's quite different from the previous iterations but then again isometric view is so 90's and the combat system wasn't all too good in FO1/2 either.
You guys should nitpick less and try to enjoy the game even if it's not Fallout as we know it :p
Yeah the textures bsa seems to be the most problematic one, maybe out of memory errors were also causing BSA commander to unpack 0 byte texture files for me?
For some reason I get empty files when I unpack the archives? :|
I managed to get the textures and half of the combat shotgun using 3d Ripper but it's kinda broken and I'd much rather use the actual model files
E:/ Hmm, this only applies to textures, meshes seem to export fine? :E
Well...
I dunno, I actually am looking forward to FO3
I don't really think they "raped" it, they made some radical changes but I loved Oblivion and I don't think it'll be crappy

I know of the omghorrible typo in the Makarov render, so meh
Also the render template isn't final, I just had rushed something so I wouldn't have had to render on gray or something
Yeah Stolve I use 512s almost always, I find them easier to work with ;P (And of course I prefer HL1 engine games over HL2 engine games)
Here's something I modeled and skinned for Resident Evil: Cold Blood:
