    GTA V

I think it only had checkpoints in last mission. EFLC is where proper checkpoints were introduced. But GTA IV games are pretty easy compared to SA and VC anyway, partly due to better controls probably. And fuck yeah, I did plenty of raging in SA missions, not just the last one. The part where...

    GTA V

Didn't know this. Although I'm glad to hear I'm hardcore, because I finished VC and SA multiple times, including last missions. 8-)

    GTA V

I've just heard GTA V might have "Turn negro jokes off/on" toggle. Pretty damn innovative if you ask me.

    GTA V

So he can tolerate them as long as they don't make any jokes? Ok..

    GTA V

It has the right formula that appeals to a wide audience. Casuals and hardcore gamers alike. That's probably the only reason why series remained so damn good. Long live GTA, I say.

    Games You're Looking Forward To

"Saints Row The Third", "Batman Arkham City", "Serious Sam 3". Further down the line I'm very much looking forward to Larian's "Dragon Commander". Also the new "Stronghold" game. I'd love to look forward to Dead State and Age Of Decadence, but I won't for the sake of my sanity.

    Batman: Arkham City

Game could've used additional difficulty levels but combat sure is fun. Controls are simple but stacking up combos as high as you can is still a fun challenge, and all of it is animated wonderfully. Likewise, completing stealth sections as fast as I could also made me feel like a very efficient...

    Tim Cain joins Obsidian Entertainment

Good for Tim regarding his employment situation and certainly can't be a bad news for us.

What is your favorite Deus Ex game

I played through it with non-lethal (mostly) stealth character and I killed all the bosses on hardest difficulty anyway. I did not invest a single point in aiming or resistance augs. Yes those encounters weren't exactly examples of good design but they are doable with any character and there are...

    Hard Reset (Wooz's game) revealed

Wooz, can you at least tell the approximate length of this game? I've read rumors it's only about 4 hours, which seem quite unbelievable for an SP-only non cinematic game. Could you ease my mind a bit here?

Unsurprisingly, Duke Nukem Forever reviews are negative

What is the game you are talking about? DNF repeated something from 20 years ago exactly the same way?

Unsurprisingly, Duke Nukem Forever reviews are negative

Yeah, I've seen user reviews at metacritic praising DNF for being "oldschool" and implying other people hate it just because they never played old shooters. Of course, they might just be some bullshitters from 2K, we'll never know, but there's no doubt some people could be genuinely retarded...

    New Carmageddon!!

Yeah gamers hate violence nowadays. I still remember how no one bought Fallout 3. Reviewers hated it too.

Unsurprisingly, Duke Nukem Forever reviews are negative

They are definitely not the only ones to blame because COD actually looks good when compared to DNF. It is certainly more fun to play. Can't say anything about Halo though, never played any of those games. But I reckon I'd have more fun even with them.

New Skyrim's E3 demo looking quite...

I heard you can be anyone you want, go anywhere you want and do anything you want in this game! You can also look at plants, micro detail and macro detail, shit like that yo. C'mon guys, this is gonna be awesome.

    New Carmageddon!!

Thanks dude! Minimap position was bothering me too. View distance (Yon) at 135 caused FPS drops though, had to settle with 80. Still, looks better than before. Lack of in-game music never bothered me, this is the type of game that is great to play with music from your own playlist.
