What's with this Gears Of War nonsense? Crysis 2 is nothing like it. It's less pretty than first one, less open too, but it's still not exactly a corridor shooter and still has some freedom in how to approach things. And it still looks pretty impressive at times, especially for a console game...

But I actually liked the change series took with RE4 and think Resident Evil is actually more fun as an action/survival game. It hardly worked as a horror/survival series for me after I first played Silent Hill on Playstation 1 anyway. It's just too silly to be scary.

I like Resident Evil 5 a lot. Not as much as 4 of course, but I had great fun with it anyway. They're really pushing it with quick time events though, I don't think I could stand their presence being increased much further. Still, love non QTE parts.

You are talking about V.Sync bug everyone knows at this point. All you have to do to fix this is force V. Sync from control panel and leave the ingame setting off. Game is perfectly playable with keyboard and mouse and I wouldn't have it any other way. It really is a good port despite this...

Melee sucks in New Vegas, as in pretty much all Fallout games. OK, maybe "sucks" is a bit harsh but it's definitely a lot less fun than going ranged. Same with Bloodlines, it took me only one non ranged build to realise I don't want to ever do that again. When you have an RPG with clunky combat...

I use CCleaner and Registry Mechanic both, because they seem to find separate issues. RM finds a lot more stuff to fix than CCleaner, but after I'm done cleaning with RM, CCleaner still manages to find some problems overlooked by RM.
