Don't double post, the edit button is there for a reason. Check if you've trying to use a two-handed weapon with a crippled arm. Also, have you tried reinstalling and then applying the patch? By the way, it's normal that patching the game will render your old savegames unusable.

There's a chopper that gets shot down at the Bar (wild territory, actually) where you encounter the army attacking the scientists. Also, it's possible to shoot down a chopper with a rifle. I managed to take one down with a Vintorez, eheheh.

Since you already mentioned it... Are any of the End Boss weapons usable by the player? Or do they just sit in your inventory taking up space?

When you talk the scientist in the Enclave into releasing FEV into the oil rig's air vent system, he injects you the antidote, so the troops and scientists in Navarro would have probably used the same method to aviod getting killed by FEV.

Back in 1998, when Croatia won the bronze in the Football World Cup, several trams, buses and quite a lot of people (only injured, though) fell victims under the celebration. If we had won gold, I think there would have been dead people as well. But, then again, we're a country full of nutjobs...

1. It isn't completely useless, it can be quite useful against tight-packed enemies. Also, it can be more effective against better armored enemies because the laser beam reflects off the armor's surface. On the other hand, laser weapons can do much more damage to unarmored or lightly armored...

I think this explains a lot, ehehe.

At the moment, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., just entered X16. Haven't been so scared since playing System Shock 2. I've also installed Arcanum on my old PC, but, of course, it won't work. Crap.
