Read the First book. I have not read the other books by him nor his son, but I can say that the First one is definitely worth it. It doesn't have any cliff hangers either, so you can just read that one and not worry about the rest.

I got the impression that the development of a cure will be more likely under Ashur because, you know, he actually has some knowledge of science and he has that doctor lady with him. For some reason, I don't find it likely that the slaves will make one.

Ok, great. The last time fought horrigan, all of my attacks did only 0 damage. Everyone else was fine. Since it's fixed, I can now start an idiot character ^^

Can you kill Horrigan with attacks now? I while ago I had a bug where all of the player's attacks deal no damage.

Finishing up my 9th campaign of XCOM Enemy Unknown. I got a psi trooper. All I need is the armor.

I dunno, they found a niche for the plasma defender and the plasma caster. They could have made the wattz pistol automatic, and the old laser rifle a kind of penetrative ability.
