Any good dialogue in Fallout 3?

Yeah, Veronica was great. Raul, her and Arcade had some pretty good lines.

Why is Fallout 3 so hated?

Eh, almost perfect isn't that absurd to me as the one that turns you into a walking nuke. That one is just absurd. Suspension of Disbelief can only do so much. It cannot excuse absurdity. Have you ever seen the film "Ed Wood"? That film pretty much shows how far you can stretch...

    The Fat Man

I made that once with the GECK. It was silly.

The best and the worst in FNV

No different from any other version, really. Except you can mod it.

The best and the worst in FNV

Have you tried the JE Sawyer mod? That changes the carry limit to something a little less ridculous. Did you know that a medium strength character (S5) in Fallout 3 and FNV carry up to 136kg, and can still run and jump? I think Bethesda didn't quite do their research...

Does anyone remember ANY Fallout 3 characters?

Ok, who do I actually remember now... Tenpenny, for being a Brit in post apocalyptic America. Also super racist. (how did he get there?!) Dukov, for being a perverted, foul mouthed ruskie in post apocalyptic America (same question as Tenpenny. I actually like him by the way. :P)...

Any good dialogue in Fallout 3?

Fallout New Vegas has bad dialogue? Really? Your brain disagrees: This is what happens if you have a stupid character talk to his brain in OWB. It's one of the few times I was actually amused at a line of dialogue in a game.

    Signature Weapon

Ah, that may be way. I tend not to wear PA in my playthroughs, and I always use Hardcore mode. I only do hard though. I find the very hard rules to be ridiculous.

    Signature Weapon

What difficulty are you on? In my playthroughs engaging a Deathclaw in close combat is a death sentence.

Plot-holes and logical inconsistencies of FO3?

Ai, people need to know the difference between a RPG and a game with RPG elements. Deus Ex HR falls in the latter category. The Witcher 2 falls in the former. Skyrim is less of a RPG than Deus Ex HR, imo. It's closer to an adventure game. But yeah, in general "Top 10 X of all time"...

Things that Fallout 3 did right!

Enclave soldiers were hard to kill in FO3? Huh, that small army of Advanced Power Armored clad mooks I killed with hardly any effort were probably cosplayers then.

Would a dedicated melee button work?

Yeah, it is really silly in the Beth fallout games that you can instantly change weapons, and even sillier that the weapons are automatically reloaded when you switch to them. If Stalker, a game that to my knowledge had a smaller budget than Fallout 3 / FNV can remember how much ammo is in...

    Warhammer 40k thread!

Yeah. It didn't make much sense either that a friggen Eldritch god can get his ass kicked by sniper rifles and Power Fists. Now it does; those aren't gods, they are just pieces of one.

    Warhammer 40k thread!

This just about covers them. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Necron#.UegmgY1kPkc Note that this was post-DoW fluff. The fluff for the necrons was expanded upon (with some changes) in the 5th ed codex, which was released several years after DoW. Prior to the 5th ed codex, there were no...

    Warhammer 40k thread!

Necrons were called "Chaos Androids" at first, iirc. They then became a xenos raiding force, and finally got their own codex and background in 3rd edition. I could be mistaken though. There has been so many changes to the background, it's hard to keep up. Especially if you started in early 4th...

    Warhammer 40k thread!

That is true. His fluff comes across as very amateurish.
