You can still plan things. But instead you have to do it before said encounter happens. That and running out of time things in the original fallout was really annoying. The combat was bad already, the time points thing made it unbearable.

It should have an engine specifically tailored to that particular game. On the topic of Isometric or First person I prefer third person to both but given the choice between those too I would pick first person. Isometric view really takes you out of the experience IMO.

I can't agree with you there. I Hated the combat in Fallouts 1 and 2 and they almoist made me turn away from the game (and gaming in general) . I dislike game combat 90% of the time, but I prefer when it is real time because I feel like I am in control.

Why play any other I-pod game when temple run and the various angry birds games still exist is the real question here :P

That implies I play games for the combat. The appeal of ME isn't the combat, just like how the appeal of fallout isn't the combat

Mass Effect 1's combat was bad, But I disliked having to scavenge ammo in 2. I hope 3 is a happy medium of the two games

I got Splinter Cell Double Agent from a friend when I told him I wished more games were based around sneaking. so far it is very good. EDIT: thought the title was conviction for some odd reason.

That's pretty much the reason why I loved the first one so much. The way that he plays Shelock is so different (and so funny) that I cannot see why anybody would like the older, stuffier movies.
