I think New Vegas will the best Fallout game we could hope for. Just sit back and enjoy the anticipation of getting the next Fallout game by the guys who were supposed to make the next Fallout game.

I enjoyed Point Lookout quite a bit, but I'm not sure how applicable its successes are to New Vegas. Most of the enjoyment comes from the well-executed swamp setting, and I don't think there are many swamps out by Las Vegas.

I didn't like the assault rifle in Fallout 3 or in the previous games, so I wouldn't mind some kind of replacement. The M16 is a nice looking gun and it nearly fits the timeline so I wouldn't get too upset. I'd probably prefer a slightly different gun that is evocative of the M16 though.

Folks might crap their pants at this thinking, but it would be a real mind-fuck if someone from Fallout 1 was still alive. Tycho would be excellent for that. Of course, I would personally put the Vault Dweller in there. Like Enoch Root from Stephenson's Cryptonomicon/Baroque Cycle.

This thread is fail. I can say that because I started it.

The top half of the body is magnificent (except for the left hand), and the face is brilliant. Maybe give the gun a strap and have her hand rest on top. The legs, while good, aren't up to the same standard. They are slightly off. I think it would be fixed by scooting the right foot further...

I've played extensively with only the XFO mod, and there are many settings. I can't recall all that I had checked. My recommendation is to play through the vanilla version first and note the things you don't like. Maybe stick to the quest so there is more new stuff for a second play...
