Which is the best-looking Power Armor?

T 51b for the win, too bad Bethesda gimped out all the power armor, its supposed to make a human a walking tank that is why the US was beating the Chinese. mobility and tanks rolled into one = slaughter of communist forces. but then the nukes flew and everything sucked.

Things we learned from Fallout 3

Well with the current state of the government who says we wont be communist by 2077 :( enclave = irrational evil, communism = irrational evil, therefore enclave = communists

Things we learned from Fallout 3

well no, but liberty prime confirmed it in such a way that there is no doubting it so i thought it was worthy of a mention. Giant killer robot > communist & enclave

Something to make your gameplay more bearable

if only Bethesda had made it this way to begin with then we wouldn't have to take it seriously and hate on it for failing to be as awesome as fallout 1 and 2

Things we learned from Fallout 3

    227. Humans are no longer born, they are spawned. 228. Communism is the definition of failure. 229. Children magically appear in caves provided there are no adults around. 230. You can not aim a shot at a persons groin, ever.

Would you have liked Fallout 3 more if it were like STALKER?

i like the combat feel in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. better, the guns feel like you're doing some damage but it is not an RPG. fallout 3 did the RPG bit better and fallout 1 & 2 did it better than both combined

    Is Maryland/DC rocky like that?

the hills covered in grasses only stay hills because the grass prevents erosion so then the rocks underground could become exposed. also its been 200 years so that allows ample time for this to happen. also the radiation would kill off most plants and their root systems are what keeps...

    DLC04 in the game files

they also mention that doctor lee had wandered off to find the commonwealth so that seems a likely next location

    About Broken Steel's ending... [SPOILERS]

Yeah seems like they went the heroic main character/savior route again like every single one of their games. The original fallout's were great because the made your character more human. For starters you could not kill a power armored enclave soldier with the 10mm pistol. And it was easier to...

There is something rotten with the Lyons' Pride symbol

her name is Sarah Lyons. get it Lyons, lions it makes sense. Besides lions are badass so its a logical choice for a name of a elite military unit

    Should i buy fallout 3?

yeah V.A.T.S. is one of the big problems it either unbalances the game by making kills far to easy or it just doesn't work properly giving minuscule chances to hit at point blank range. It also doesn't calculate critical hits for several of the guns properly

    About Broken Steel's ending... [SPOILERS]

well they are fans of undead horses look at Shadowmare in Oblivion. But seriously bethesda does not have an original idea in their whole company first of all the elderscrolls series is basically the same as any other generic medieval rpg series (not that they aren't fun once in a while) and all...

    About Broken Steel's ending... [SPOILERS]

that makes sense it seems i placed too high of hopes the Bethesda writing staff i really should have learned my lesson after operation anchorage and the whole main quest

    About Broken Steel's ending... [SPOILERS]

my problem was with the ending. Why would you bother nuking the citadel after going through all that trouble to fight through the enclave, it just doesn't add up. the only way that that could make sense is if you could join the enclave and make them the dominant power in the wasteland while...

    Should i buy fallout 3?

let me put it simply if you liked S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and thought "wow, now if only somebody would add bullet time and better graphics" then fallout 3 is the game for you. If you are a fan of fallout 1 & 2 and loved the in depth story telling and multiple solutions to every quest and quality writing...

    Weapon Recommendations Thread: Firearms

the sniper rifle is not that good. it is not very good at extreme range out side of vats and in vats it is fairly useless because it does not factor in the scope when doing chances to hit checks the best sniper weapon in the game has to be the gauss rifle from operation anchorage

    Super Mutants... Eat... People?

yeah i agree besides the super mutants still show human tendencies like how in fallout one of the super mutant in the Mariposa Military Base still remembered his wife and was trying to protect her from my murderous rampage. that proves they still remember what it is to be human and most humans...

    Super Mutants... Eat... People?

its because ogres in oblivion eat people and Bethesda has difficulty differentiating between monsters and horribly mutated people
