I've just busted into FO2 (yep, that's why I disappeared)...I have to say that I don't like the Temple of Trials or any of the "primitive" scenarios. If I want a character poking critters with spears, I'd play Diablo. When I play FO, I want Road Warrior, not D&D. Jay

Bingo! And I figured out why I couldn't find it before, I wasn't watching the scrolling text... I found the rifle, but I can't pick it up, and I can't see it on the screen. For some reason, it does not highlight when the cursor goes over it. The only reason I know the cursor is pointing...

The radioactive particles of matter (dirt, buildings, people, etc) that are vaporized by the explosion and carried into the air on the thermal wave. They get caught by prevailing winds and carried for miles before settling back to earth. Jay

I have been trying to trigger the "Billy" quest every since I saw your mention of it in your guide. Went in with a high speech & INT, tried all the conversation options, no luck... Once I get out of my first conversation with him, all I get is floating script. Jay

*SPOILER* No scorpions, you have a random encounter with a guy standing in front of a shed with a "Bob's Used Cars" sign and several rusted-out vehicles scattered around. The guy is nuts, tries to sell you a car. Pick the door on the shed, there is a crate in the upper right hand corner that...

All I have found on the kids at Shady Sands were rocks and a BB gun (but not the cool LE one). Certainly no energy weapons. The best weapon I found in the whole town was a hunting rifle (carried by Seth). Jay

Not much in my area worth bombing back in the 50's, unless cow pastures and pig barns were high on the target list. With prevailing weather patterns, though, we would suck up a lot of fallout from oil field strikes in Texas and Oklahoma. I would be a definate "ghoul" candidate... Jay

For the Cathedral I really like the "sneak in & arm the nuke" method. My worst problem with dogmeat is the Military Base. I tried to pen him between forcefields, but when I go down to the next level, he still gets off the elevator with me. Jay
