    Fallout 3 - Wasteland Dancin'

Thanks for posting this. :D Maybe not a pinnacle of greatness, but I thought it was funny. The best part for me is Mr. Burke. The dancing along with his voice caps were perfect for this. Though, the creepy guy in front of the Brotherhood of Steel was good too.

    Fallout 3 & SecuROM

Unless I am completely unaware of thousands of pirates who live without knowledge and/or access to the internet, all of this SecuRom crap (and most DRM) has got to be the biggest waste of time ever. I pre-ordered my game (shipping in progress) for the PS3, but adventures through the levels of...

Bethesda pencils in new Elder Scrolls

The bad thing is that it might kill the Fallout franchise itself, unless someone who utterly loved it bought it up and had enough money/resources to recreate it. (such as Interplay itself way down the road) As I've said before, sort of like the Batman movies. But...maybe you want it destroyed...

Bethesda pencils in new Elder Scrolls

Although when something is momentarily hot, and gamers flock to it even if in reality it is a lacking product; (as we see with Oblivion and now Fallout 3 to an extent) over time I have faith that lack of evolution will catch up to the company failing to evolve. It just takes longer for the...

    Fallout 3 Launch a success

lol... I know what you mean. When I got to this topic, I was just like, "who are all of these people?!" I mean, optimists outnumbering pessimists?? What board am I on?! (makes sure there isn't a Beth logo anywhere) Yeah and seriously, I don't really like NMA being all doom and gloom, but I...

Bethesda wants Fallout 3 trailers off the web

This, on top of everything else I've read about Beth on here the last month or so, brings me to the conclusion that they are just...weird. I swear half of them are running around swinging plastic swords at each other, talking through puppets, wearing glittery mage robes and working on computers...

    WorthPlaying interviews Pete Hines

I'm another one who'd be fine with the perspective (maybe even giddy) if they had just cleaned it up better and used a different engine in general. I'm not saying it's perfect, but I just got a hold of Far Cry 2 and THAT is how to be immersive in first person. (I don't even care about 3rd...

Fallout 3 reviews: OXM UK, Level, Score, GMC, PC Gamer

OK, you're just a really happy person aren't you? lol... Actually, I have been very middle ground when it comes to this game. I am both looking forward to it and disappointed at the same time. The comment above about the crappy animations, etc. (even though I agree with that part) was really...

Fallout 3 reviews: OXM UK, Level, Score, GMC, PC Gamer

@OP: I see that the 10% of workable score rule is still intact. I can't believe all of those 9s. I'd except an average of around 7 or 8; not this. I will say that most of the time these guys seem to review stuff based on their initial excitement playing a game, and not for the long run...

    Todd Howard on Fallout 4

Yeah, I know it's a joke. I just couldn't resist. :D I mean, it does make sense! :) Probably more possible than winning the lottery! OK, maybe not. :P And, you never know what's going to happen in Fallout's future, especially if Interplay's MMORPG takes off. You might start to see more...

    Todd Howard on Fallout 4

lol...oh sorry. I didn't think of that. I guess they wouldn't make an exception. :) "The biggest game ever, Sony's Fallout 3, on Microsoft's XBox 360!" :P

    Todd Howard on Fallout 4

Thanks for the information. It sounds like it was a bit of a mess. Too bad. EDIT: I think that was the topic I ran into originally after reading through. I remember the deal about the pen & paper game which I was interested in at the time.

    Todd Howard on Fallout 4

@UncannyGarlic: So...you're saying that other companies were interested? If they were, why do you think Beth ended up with the rights? Simply offered the most money? I'd hate to think that Sony could have ended up with it, in the sense that they probably would have given it to a really good...

    Todd Howard on Fallout 4

Or you could marry Paris Hilton and use your allowance? :D On Topic: I do wonder if there is a company out there who would want the rights. I am sure anyone who loves the franchise wouldn't care whether or not Bethesda went screwy on it. It's just like when the Batman movies went to hell...

    Todd Howard on Fallout 4

Good Outbreak: "Alright, so maybe when they do FO4, they will fix the problems with 3 and it will be a much better game. Along with that, maybe what Ausir says will be true, and while the main guys that do everything in their power to F up Fallout are distracted, the real creative guys will be...

Fallout 3 guide creation #3: Training Chapter Overview

lol...I didn't mind those clean looking chairs on the inside since someone might be taking the time to take care of them, or had fancy ones built, but on the outside, that just looks silly. I really notice the lack of shadows too. That makes it all look a lot worse. Bleck... The ghoul guys...

    PSM3 Fallout 3 platform comparison

I always knew you had to do a lot of stuff to make stuff work on the PS3, (and the PS2) but I didn't know if the XBox was the same. So anyway, what you say makes a lot of sense then. EDIT: That might also explain why the 360 is a little more popular. :)

    PSM3 Fallout 3 platform comparison

@entropyjesus: Thanks for the impartial response. That's more of what I expect, that it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with either system's power, but how they are utilized. I mean, I don't know how much difference it makes, but I am sure on top of the fact that the 360 has been out...

    Fallout 3 review: PSM3

Yeah, and as I said before, if they had been a little more creative/artistic with it, it might have worked/come off a little better. As the Fallout universe currently is though, it's not QUITE that far fetched. If I was going to play a campy 50's fiction based game, I'd rather it be an...

    Fallout 3 review: PSM3

Thanks for the reply. I agree that both of these are possible in this case, but if it's the former, then we can see easily if every major review that comes out never goes under 90 or 9. But of course, maybe it really is like the latter, and everyone just wants to be on Bethesda's good side...
