The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

Haven't fully watched the show yet, but from what I've seen from being spoiled, apparently Shady Sands is nuked by Vault-Tec in 2277 (a full 5 years before the events of New Vegas) and the NCR as a state collapses. What is left is the "leader" of the NCR ruling a bunch of bandits, wanting to...

    New Fallout trailer

From what I've seen, the show is just going to shit on the existing lore from the classics in California, which is sad because a lot of that stuff is gonna get decanonised quick by the new Bethesda lore being introduced here. Makes no sense for there to be a vault in Santa Monica, given what we...

Fallout TV-show Teaser Trailer just dropped

They call it the "Caswennan", which I believe is the name of the sandbank where King Arthur's ship the "Prydwen" wrecked in Arthurian legend. So it is essentially the Prydwen, even the naming convention is similar, but they've chosen to rename it. Either way, makes no sense for it to be there.

Fallout TV-show Teaser Trailer just dropped

There is a zoomed out shot of Santa Monica where you can see the vault entrance at the bottom left, it’s out in the open daylight, I doubt it would’ve been missed by the Master.

Fallout TV-show Teaser Trailer just dropped

Vault 33 being in Santa Monica doesn't really make much sense. Its entrance is out in the open, meaning the Master's Army should've clearly stumbled across it, but chose not to raid it? Considering how the Lieutenant gets hard when he sees a prime normal: the Vault Dweller brought to him at...

    Fallout 3 & Oblivion Remasters

Fallout 3 is already a pretty shit game, so I doubt a remaster could make it any worse.

    Starfield

I bought Starfield and have been playing it over the weekend. I've barely experienced any performance issues, but I've had some people tell me that they've had severe issues playing on a HDD, so I would not recommend that (minimum requirements say to use an SSD anyway). I've noticed that the...

    Starfield

The thing is people have become so conditioned to follow a map marker on a compass that when it comes to actually figuring out how to do things themselves they whine "whaa too hard" and instantly bash the game without actually trying. If people were willing to step out of their comfort zone and...

    Starfield

Haha, the Autons were in the first episode of the revival in 2005. They're essentially living plastic mannequins that have a similarity to what we're seeing in Starfield.

    Starfield

When Bethesda said they were making a Sci-Fi space game, I wasn't expecting a direct rip off of the Autons from another popular Sci-Fi franchise: Doctor Who.

    Starfield

Apparently Earth's atmosphere slowly ceased to be in a period of 50 years and humans allied together under the "United Colonies" to evacuate and direct the exodus of the entire population of Earth to I'm assuming Alpha Centauri?

    Starfield

I don't think its companies hating their playerbases, its that at the end of the day they're in the market to make money. I admit its pretty douchey to stoop as low as some companies do but so long as there are shills who are ready to throw all of their money at the company, the company will...

You can also visit the Apollo 11 landing site on the Earth's Moon, where the US flag is still standing and recognisable. In reality, the flag should be completely bleached white due to the Sun's UV radiation. You'd have thought if you're making an immersive space game, you'd have done some...

    Starfield

So the main story is just a bunch of radiant fetch quests similar of the likes to the Greybeards telling you to fuck off to a word wall in Skyrim?

    Starfield

Unfortunately its the opinions of shills and game journalists who don't have a clue what they're doing, and in 2023 that's the only opinion that matters in the industry. *sigh*

    Starfield

To be frank, I was put off when I heard that 90% of the planets had no life on them. Spent far too much time on No Man's Sky exploring a desolate walking simulator, mining the odd rock only to hear "LIFE SUPPORT POWER LOW" every five minutes, which required me to feed the rocks I just mined into...

    Starfield

Glad I gave Starfield a pass for now; its warranted far too much hype. People believed this would be a revolutionary game, where you could freely explore the confines of space, but the exact same bullshit was funelled to us by Hello Games in 2016 and there was no way in hell I was going to fall...

Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

I took a look at the replies on the tweet from Amazon Prime, and a lot of the Bethesda fans there don't even know the Boneyard exists, thinking it was completely destroyed in the Great War (someone even thought that Los Angeles was in the Divide and therefore should've been destroyed). This...

Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

From the leaked trailer, there's Brotherhood in Fallout 4 style vertibirds wearing T-60 power armor. If they were going to set the show on the west coast they could've at very least tried matching the designs of existing objects and worldspaces there. It'll be interesting to see how the...
