Out of energy ammo + I have to fight Super Mutants

hunting rifle, as said before is great against super mutants. combat shotguns and 10mm SMG is good at close range also. The only problem you will have is maybe against the super mutant masters... and having energy weapons doesn't give you THAT much of an advantage against them.

    4GB of RAM

(i think i have this correctly, some chip in if i am incorrect) the maximum ram you can use in a 32-bit windows OS, depends, IIRC, how much memory mapped devices you have. The OS will map upper memory addresses directly to devices on your system. The more devices you have, the more memory...

Most Overrated Games of This Gen?

Another agreement... while I had fun playing Bioshock, it is overrated+dumbed down SS2 with little or no replayability. Story is pretty damn good though.

    Med-X

pretty much all the other drugs were in the previous games

So, uh, did anyone like it?

no i give it a 9.8/10 - i knock off .2 for the dated graphics engine

    Stumped on part 2

have you searched all the map locations? read all of your holodics for clues maybe do some side quests to start with (maybe try the "quest" for the BoS?)

    Med-X

I dunno why it should be called morphine (besides Beth calling it that originally)... none of the other drugs in Fallout have real names.

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

That one made by Korg? Looks fun, I'm afraid of the DS sound quality making it a "pass" for me though.

So, uh, did anyone like it?

I bought it and had a lot of fun with it. It's only kinda a "fallout-y game" It needs a patch for the major bugs tho

The endless search for THE bed!

If you fast travel it tends to go away quickly - i have discovered.

    Enemies

The protectrons were kinda close to that. If anything, i really did like Bethesda's robot designs

    Stealthboy

Perhaps the use is the "Stealth Field +75"? I am not sure what that effect is - maybe reduce chance to hit you in combat, etc... not entirely sure.

    V:TM - Bloodlines

Wow, great replies people... as long as I can patch it with the steam version, I think i will be OK with trying out the unofficial patches, as it is the easiest to buy it from there (plus i hate physical media cluttering up my abode - i just wanna play the game)

    V:TM - Bloodlines

Noted, I have little knowledge of the V:TM P&P game, as, honestly, I really never cared for vampire crap at all (i hate vampire stories and movies in general). But... regardless of bugs, Troika always seem to make any game/story/fun and engaging... and, it's only $20

    Inflexibility of Main Quest

THIS! I have nothing to add, but this is an especially important point that really irked me.

My personal take on Fallout 3

And fallout tactics is total canon! :-P (yes, that is sarcasm)

    Inflexibility of Main Quest

Well, honestly Fallout 1s main quest is a bit more polished. The conversation scripting is OODLES (you determine what factor OODLE is ;) ) better. Some of your actions are just hamstrung by completely arbitrary plot devices (i.e. the "knockout" grenade in V87 - so is there like only ONE of...
