    2012 apocalypse!!!

Not quite that easilly, even if a generator is grounded, enough electricity backflow could overpower the safetysystems and cause them to burn out. Many switches will also likely burn out. Can't list my source though since it's my former "boss" at the local HV electrical company.

    2012 apocalypse!!!

Well, there are more powerfull storms, and if a powerfull enough storm hits us, with the right polarity - without enough warning, it could knock out generators. Wich takes several months building up. Regions could be without power for months, wich is quite a "hassle". Bad weather and...

Dragon Age II: now more like Mass Effect 2

I agree with the first part, it could hold some promise. Having a fixed name could just aswell have been one of a few different nicknames you choose at creation or something. I'm pretty certain it would'nt be too hard for them to program that, and it'd feel better. That's the advantage of...

    2012 apocalypse!!!

Cascade powerfailures are'nt that unlikely, and some systems powercompanies are using are outdated. Usually get a bunch of powerouts here a year aswell, but I've got a woodburning stove and plenty of firewood, so atleast I won't freeze to death during the winter. Could find a decent...

    2012 apocalypse!!!

Well, I go by the only true universal law, the Murphy's Law. But true, it might be hard to miss, but if we do see it in time, will our precautions be enough?

    2012 apocalypse!!!

Same thing here, considering how much we as modern humans rely on technology, a missed solar eruption could spell for alot of accidents.

My guess would be necromancy. The heathens.

Tim Cain interview on Matt Chat, part 2

Source Agreed that this is much speculating since they don't mention camera angles specifically, but it sounds likely they will keep the ISO option available fo the PC atleast. Though consoles seems to be more (mass) effectivized.

Dragon Age II: now more like Mass Effect 2

Five facts about Dragon Age 2 main character if anyone is interested. I bought the original game for PC and was quite dissapointed about it, Dragon Age 2 seems to make it even worse.

    Mafia 2

Meh, color me slightly dissapointed. I'm going to miss that part from the former game.

    Mafia 2

I did'nt have any problems with the digital kind of manouvering the car since I used an steeringwheel myself, but I see your point. Don't know how they'll handle things this time around with throttle and brake controls though. I suppose the cheapest sollution to that would be to use a...

    Obsidian making Dungeon Siege 3?

It was easier to feel some sort of motivation, yeah, and from what I remember from the games the character gallery was a bit more interesting too.

    Obsidian making Dungeon Siege 3?

Atleast KotoR 2 was better in my eyes than the predecessor, but that might more have to do with the style of campaign being more inline with what my own PnP campaigns are for StarWars. NWN2 I'm a bit ambigous about, because I can't actually remember much of the game, it was'nt very memorable to...

    Weird/Stupid fears on gaming?

I've been trying to remember the name of the game, but can't call if up. I remember it being an adventure style horror game for Nintendo Gamecube, with Cthulhu inspiration I think, sanity meter and some really creepy atmosphere. We were about 10 people in the room watching a friend playing...

    Alpha Protocol

Indeed it does, and the voice actors are well coordinated - or atleast I can't remember any times that I've had a bad reaction too the deliveries of their lines. I'm not an expert on psychiatry but playing as a "sociopath" was an believable affair, it did'nt feel as pointless as it's done in...
