    OWB and the BoS

The way the BoS acts now is much more extreme than how they used to be. They went from 'hoarding pre-war tech' to 'hoarding pre-war tech and killing anybody who got in their way and had something they wanted'. You also have to remember that those Paladins don't represent the BoS...

    OWB and the BoS

How is hoarding tech harmful to themselves? While I don't see it as harmful to other people, I can see how someone would think of it in that way. But to themselves? I don't understand...

Well, that's where you and I differ.

    OWB and the BoS

Isn't the preservation of their own society a goal enough?

    OWB and the BoS

Yeah, they hoard tech so that other people can't have it, because if other people did that would put them in danger due to not holding a technological edge over the rest of the wastes. It doesn't do harm. The BoS found it, they can do what they want with it. If the NCR gets butthurt about...

    OWB and the BoS

That did no more harm than the NCR did when they took Helios One from the BoS by force. However, the NCR already had a large power source in Hoover Dam. Maybe they didn't have an abundance of power, but they had enough to get by. They were doing fine without Helios One. The BoS is a small...

    OWB and the BoS

I think I understand. But them hoarding tech doesn't do harm. Just because they don't help doesn't mean that they do harm. You wouldn't say that scavengers do harm just because they don't share what they find, would you? But if you're talking about the Van Buren BoS, then they definitely do...

    OWB and the BoS

    Can you rephrase that?

    OWB and the BoS

I don't think they're flawed. They aren't philanthropic by any means, but they also don't really cause any harm (at least not before Van Buren. Them changing their ways led to their downfall.)

    Lonesome Road speculation

I know this sounds kind of weird, but I want this to be the hardest DLC yet. I don't know, I just think it would fit since Ulysses seems to be extremely important to the story of New Vegas, and it's supposed to be this grand 'Battle of the Couriers'. I was frustrated by the difficulty in Dead...

New Vegas as made by Quagmire and Quagmire Associates

Well... technically he said that there would be no Boomers in his story and the Boomers were the people who brought the artillery to Nellis.

What are you bringing to the Big Empty?

Only 19 stimpacks? I used about 20 in the last part of the DLC alone. Not saying you can't do it, but you might want to stock up a little bit more.

I'd support Ceasars Legion except [Insert answer here]

I would support them if: 1. They weren't technophobes 2. They weren't woman haters 3. They weren't slavers 4. They weren't so strict 5. They weren't obsessed with conquering the NCR Although in the game I get a strong urge to support them every playthrough. I think it has to do with...

Real life parrelels in our faction choices? and sympathies.

That reminds me of my third playthrough. I was planning on doing an NCR playthrough, but when I got to the part where you were supposed to destroy the BoS, I went there and and did the 'Still in the Dark' quest, helping Hardin become elder. Well, I didn't know that you had to destroy them if you...

    Old World Blues

No. 10 is about right, although there is the possibility that I'm remembering wrong, but it did take 6-8 at the least. Although that's on Normal mode so on Very Hard it might take a few more. In the DLC you're giving a little pistol which is useful though, a few shots paralyses the...

    Super Mutant- NCR war

Well, you could say they did that because there wouldn't be enough left over from the West Coast to pose a threat, although Bethesda didn't care about that when it came to the Enclave. You also only see an incredibly small portion of NCR-Controlled territory.

    Old World Blues

I'm not too far into it, so I can't quite say so, but I will say that the Robo-scorpions are very tough. It usually takes about 10 shots from my YCS/186 to kill one of them. Luckily they aren't too fast.

    Cazadors- your thoughts?

Have you ran into the Robo-scorpions yet? They can take a hit.

    favorite Quests

When I did the Arizona Killer quest I just stood right next to the Vertibird Landing spot, and I shot President Kimball with the Alien Blaster. Not the most intelligent way to go about it, but it works.

    Cazadors- your thoughts?

Cazadores are easy to kill when you have yourself a Light Machine Gun. I cleared out Silver Peak Mine without taking a scratch, and I tore the Legendary Cazador to shreds in seconds. But yeah, if you don't have a weapon with a high RoF on you, Cazadores are annoying... incredibly annoying...
