New articles on Fallout 3 Blog

It's actually funny, I'd pretty much set myself to ignoring most of this when I talked about needing water to prevent DEHYDRATION and people went off the cuff and started saying there was this mystical healing toilet water. We all know you NEED to drink water to survive, and if I'm not mistaken...

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

This is a few days late, I realize, but I also noticed I'd forgotten to answer it at all! (sorry Mick!) Just to clarify one thing, I'm not really a "reviewer" in the sense that I've never EVER recieved a free copy of any game to write anything about it. I wish I did, because free games...

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

I actually skipped out on the dinner and the after events, mainly because I had to get back to my real day job. I wish I'd gone so I could have seen those cakes in person though. Perhaps you should rid yourself of some of your preconcieved notions of Fallout 3? Thanks Briosa for the...

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

Yea, I wish I were getting paid for this stuff, and you seem to wish for the game to suck. :P On a different note, the one about X-com's and Fallout 3's concept art. Does anyone know where I can see the concept art for Fallout 1/2? I've found some for tactics and BoS but none for the...

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

Is this person for real? I'm not an industry insider, and I don't think I've ever claimed to be. Perhaps I should have been a bit more clear in my response to Brother None, it tested my memory for both the demo AND of what dialogue in Oblivion was like. The reasoning for the demo is that we...

Thanks Dutchy, that was actually a reply to what Lisac was saying, but we've worked all that out now. Lisac & Mick: No harm no foul, glad we worked that out.

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

Lisac: I was trying to get an answer or explanation out of you, but others have explained it clearly now so don't worry about it. I've already written plenty of objective material about this game. Brother None asked me some more questions and encouraged me to get involved on the forums...

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

So the entire issue is (now) that it makes little sense for a bobblehead to improve a player's stats? Now I understand, that's all you had to say from the beginning. :D

Lisac: I put no more words in your mouth then come out of it.

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

Hey, I'm just trying to bring you guys information since I've seen the whole demo and talked with the developers of the game. If you don't want the information I'll stop.

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

A hybrid is not a choice between one or the other, it is both at the same time, but I get what you're saying. What are some examples of games with that choice? (I can't think of any) Fallout 1 is a hybrid realtime / turnbased game where you don't get to choose. Fallout 3 is an RPG that...

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

Keep in mind that we have only seen less then 10% of the game, so anything you talk about being a "majority of parts" is hardly accurate. Considering bobbleheads first became widespread in the 50's and 60's, how do you figure they don't fit into the idea of a post-apocalyptic 50's future?

    NMA: indirect Fallout 3 Q&A

If your character is an agile sniper, logic says he'd have very high gun skills and therefore his percentages in VATS would be very high, so you would be able to play the game very effectively within the RTwP system. hybrid RT/TB = RTwP Not sure how you think this would work, really, but...
