Reminds me of the Media Watch program in Australia. I've noticed an increase of inexplicit advertisement in media being reported there.

It's horrendous for mouse and keyboard. The ui has improved (not saying much), but the mouse is very problematic. Especially frequent issues with choosing the place to throw grenades/fire missiles.

I noticed in the demo that you can catch idle enemies by surprise if you discover them by blowing up a wall (usually they get a free turn to move into cover).

Soldiers have different stats and I think you can see fuel getting caught in crossfire in the earliest gameplay video. Shots going through stuff is apparently a bug

Yes, 3D characters and 2D backgrounds. Sprites are a pain, but the environments are mostly static so no reason to not pre-render.

But the backgrounds still look nice today. Best would be 3d models with 2D backgrounds.
