I'm playing F2 with the restoration mod. I've always preferred to play the Fallout games without followers, because it seems like the right way to play it, even in the later games. I can't remember if followers have their own unique quests in 3 and New Vegas. If they do then next play though...

Yeah I might have to cheat it if I can. Although if I kill the slavers then I'm guessing I wouldn't need the radio. I've reached Modoc anyway and I'm gradually saving up for a shotgun. And the vendor issue was because I was trying to sell an activated item (a lit flare!).

I did look there, but it wasn't anywhere in there. Someone told me to look around the vendors, but I couldn't see it there either. So I'm not sure what's going with that. I'll try offloading some items anyway, hopefully that will fix the vendor selling thing.

I've got about 90 rounds of 10mm ammo now (albeit armor piercing), so hopefully that'll keep me going for a bit. I'm also having an issue where traders wouldn't accept my offers even if they matched or slightly exceeded the dollar value. Not sure if that was a bug? Ended up getting annoyed so...
