I do have those files in the desired directories... I didn't do the humongous (whatever) install, and I didn't extract the entire master.dat, just the files that needed editing. Soooo... could one of these things be part of the problem?

Ok, this might sound really stupid but how can I install it? I dowloaded the rar file but it tells me "Next volume is required" whatever. What do I have to do?

I also have know idea how to use the compiler + I have no russian reading skills. Sooo can I email this dims guy for an english readme too or is this privelige just for priveliged people who have that privelige? What's his email anyway? Why don't you people just put the readme in the download...
