I actually enjoyed the TV program Billy Mays was it called "Pitchmen". It wasn't something I made a point of to watch, but when it was on, I found it entertaining enough to watch... Even when the scripted reality drama kicked in.

wow this is some serious grave digging but I'm in the process of watching A Boy And His Dog now... The parallels between this film and the Fallout storyline are too many to ignore. This movie obviously played an instrumental roll in the plot of Fallout. worth watching if only for cultural value.

You should watch some of the gameplay videos. You will see that what you describe is far from Starcraft 2, or any of the other star crafts for that matter.
