Killed that big bitch today for the first time! Pretty happy :).

I think we need a generic "Cool Kickstarter Stuff" thread.

Since I beat it I've unlocked a number of new bosses (some pretty difficult) and items. Also, the dungeon has an extra 2 floors now (so after killing mom you have to do 2 more floors). Great game overall IMO.

Is anybody else addicted to this? I managed to [spoiler:5d8ddb6b60]kill mom[/spoiler:5d8ddb6b60] this morning but I feel like I've only managed to complete 1% of what this title has to offer. I liked Super Meat Boy but was never able to finish it. I think that this game strikes a better...

Hearts of Iron III is pretty good. I've heard good things about the Men of War series. Unity of Command is also great.

Sale is pretty much done now. I came away only spending about $20. In the end I bought Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity, the Binding of Isaac DLC, Universe Sandbox and Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition.

Not a big fan of the video game industry's love of "announcements about announcements". They remind me of the "meetings to set up the next meeting" junk I deal with at work.

I bought Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity for $10. Thankfully most of the indie games I've wanted over the past year have been made available through various Humble Bundle's so I won't be tempted by those.

My motto is: Never, ever, buy a game full price on Steam. They'll always end up on sale. Also, it's nice to know that I was just as wise as I am today fully two years ago.

I played hundreds of hours of TF2. Then they made micro-transactions and ruined the game.

Not interested in this at all. I don't like the fact that the visual style of the game looks like Kane & Lynch (blurry camera, etc) and I don't like the fact that the comic book cut scenes are gone.

I like Mario. As stated above, it's still fun to play. Same reason I think Pac-Man is awesome (still fun to play). As for Zelda, most Zelda fans are nostalgia whores and whatever happens to be the first Zelda game they played will always be "the best". I played them all since the first one...

I don't see how people can get "sick" of kickstarter. If you don't like the projects, don't back them. Seems simple. These games aren't being made by large publishers anymore so if they can be made via kickstarter, I'm all for it. Why get "sick of" a more diversified game industry?

I can't help but laugh when the company apologists get something like what D3 is going through right now (nobody can play the game). How do you justify the DRM now?

Joy of joys.... another WoW clone that'll go "freemium" 8 - 12 months after release and probably die about 12 months after that. If Star Wars: Old Republic can't compete with WoW, this sure as hell won't (SW:TOR recently announced it lost about 25% of its player base since launch). MMO's...

At least I've found a kickstarter project that involves my childhood that I have absolutely zero interest in spending money on :).
