I played it when it first came out on GCN, and have the remake on Wii. Good game. Pikmin 3 is supposed to be in development for Wii U.

Having to tape paper to my monitor screams "poor design decision". The problem I had with the compass is that it took all exploration out of the game. Even if I just looked at the dot on the map and then walked that way, the game is still telling me exactly what to do.

Black & White more or less cemented PM's "trollness", as well as his general inability to make a good game anymore in my eyes.

I'm excited about that game.

I don't see what the big deal is... if you want to plunk down $5 to pre-order a game and get a little extra from DICE for doing so, all the more power to you. If you don't, then don't.

Bethsoft hasn't made a good game since Morrowind (some fans will claim Daggerfall was their last good one) so my hopes for this game are pretty much nil.

Mass Effect 3's use of Kinect is about as clear an example of "shoehorning in a feature" as you could find.

FFX was, IMO, one of the best in terms of main character. It also approached a love story in a very mature manner, which is rare in JRPG's. I've read that FFXII was originally supposed to be about Balthier, but the story was changed, and it shows. FFXIII was good, but very different...

I'm rather bummed my PC can't handle this game... oh well... maybe in a few years when I pick up a new PC... Never-ending upgrades... the bane of PC gaming.
