This can't come soon enough. Arkham Asylum was one of my favourite games, and this is looking like it ramps everything up a bunch. Some of the new fighting stuff looks cool as well.

I just can't get excited by this game... firstly, I can't remember the last id game that was actually good (they make good engines, not games). Secondly, with Fallout 3, F:NV, Borderlands, Stalker, Metro 2033, etc, I'm pretty worn out on post-apoc. settings. The market is so saturated...

Sadly, it'll outsell the first game, and Bioware will continue their devolution to generic 3rd person shooter hell.

I'd imagine piracy has a lot to do with it as well.... Look at a game like World of Goo... very much worth the asking price, but it was rampantly pirated. You can't really pirate games on PSN or XBLA.

Sadly, the current game industry means that a single bad game can spell financial doom for a company (ie: Turok and Acclaim), so after the lacklustre Brutal Legend, I'm guessing Tim & Co. decided it was just safer to make small, downloadable games in the vein of Costume Quest & Stacking...

I never aced "The Bunker" because of the concentrated hatred that was that electric wheel. Fuck that wheel.

This was caused by the broken level scaling seen in TES IV, meaning the Argonians farmed bandits for the amazing weapons and armour, then proceeded to save the day.
