    Fallout Trivia!!

The name of the captain is A. Ron Meyers. I'm at that stage in my current game. Seems like the only place where it is mentioned is in the short description you get when you keep the pointer still on him for a second, and only after you've talked with him at least once. Strange, since he never...

    Patches for Fallout 2

I'm still getting the "too many items corrupting maps" bug. This needs to be fixed!

    What the hell just happened?!

I doubt that screenshots would be very informative (not to mention, I have no place to host them). I tried doing that again, but this time the mutant stayed dead. I have a theory that something like this happened: when I walked up to the mutant, he noticed me, but there was that split second...

    Fallout Trivia!!

You can, but it can also be obtained elsewhere (the gun shop outside NCR is one place, I think). Anyway, it isn't unique in Fallout 2 anymore.

    Fallout Trivia!!

I guess I should've been more clear with this. I meant name three weapons that are unique in Fallout 1 and another three from Fallout 2. There's one from FO1 mentioned and two from FO2 so far...

    Fallout Trivia!!

I'll try to keep this up. Name three unique weapons from both Fallout games.

    New Fallout End Game Patch

Sweet. I hope you'll update it some. I'd suggest preventing the player from getting into Vault 13 after the Overseer throws you out. It makes sense, and would be much less trouble than changing the Overseer's chair and dialogue. And there isn't really anything in the Vault that you'd want at the...

    What the hell just happened?!

I just saw what was probably the strangest darn thing I've ever seen happen in Fallout 2. I had just gotten into the Military Base and thought I'd test the mutagenic serum there. So I sneak behind the super mutant in the northeast part of the first floor and stick him with the needle. Sure...

    Patches for Fallout 2

I see. But it doesn't seem to make sense that the hostile critter gets AC bonus for unspent action points when its turn is yet to come on that round.

Any way to enable task switching in Tactics?

Is there any way to enable task switching in Fallout Tactics? Pressing alt+tab does nothing and neither does pressing that windows key in that is in newer keyboards. I'm running Win98SE if that makes any difference.

    Fallout Antics

Once when my brother played Fallout 2 he tried long and hard to kill the guy at the end of Temple of Trials when he initiates the fight. Never succeeded. His other project was to become the boxing champ by killing all the other contestants in the ring. That went through with some effort.

    Thesis on FEV

Wow, this is interesting, even if lot of it goes over my head. One question though: if the FEV virus increases the amount of neurons in the brain, then for those neurons to be of any use, they would have to establish new connections with previously existing ones, right? Wouldn't tha lead to at...

Fallout Tactics- What's wrong with it-

Looking back at FOT overall as a tactical combat game, I think that the biggest flaw was that many of the missions were WAY too linear - just proceed through the map on a preset path killing everybody in the way. Complete with mystically unpickable and indestructible doors. Prime examples of...

    Patches for Fallout 2

There's a minor bug that I always get in Fallout 2 (UK version). When a hostile critter starts the combat, they always skip second turn, but the AC bonus from unused action points stays on permanently. None of the patches (official or fan-made) mend this. Also, one bug that seems to have...

    Patches for Fallout 2

If I may suggest another picture for 5.7 mm ammo: http://remtek.com/arms/fn/57/57.gif Also there is one thing I'd like to ask. I'm being an ass here for not trying out the patch yet, but has there been added a way to get the "Autodoc raised hit points II" perk? I read from Per Jorner's guide...
