    Fallout 3 Hands-On #13

On the flip side, the also released DLC for Morrowind for free so a change wouldn't be a surprise. That said, it really anybody's guess at this point. My comment has only been that when deciding to purchase the game it would probably be best to wait until mod tools are released if you think...

    Fallout 3 Hands-On #13

At this point I have no clue what your point is. I'm talking about bugs and poor design/game play. Some of which is fixable by mods but a decent amount of things are either too difficult to fix even though modders technically could or cannot be fixed by mods. Thus the idea that mods can fix...

    Fallout 3 Hands-On #13

And what definition is that? Oblivion had flaws not the least of which were inability to fight while mounted, quests with only 1 solution, level scaling, loot scaling, psychic guards, a odd theft system, an animation bug that if you played the game for too long things would stop animating...

    Fallout 3 Hands-On #13

Not just you. I also love the assumption that all the flaws can be modded away. Especially since we know from Oblivion that there are some things that even modder couldn't do (and somethings that were too time consuming to even bother trying to mod).

Ask me your questions, Bridgekeeper. I am not afraid.

Re: translation Wow, that's really depressing. I had hoped that the game would at least be average (i.e. maybe worth a play through at a $20 or less price tag). Overall though the game just seems boring and nothing kills my interest in a game more than being bored.

    Zero Projekt Update

Sounds promising, I wish them the best of luck.

    Fallout on GameTap

How it works, is you create an account (which is free), you download the client (which is free) and at that point you can then download any of the free games. To play, you click on the game you want to play (and click play) and sit through a short commercial ( 15- 30 seconds if you don't have a...

    Fallout on GameTap

Eh, hope springs eternal and all that. And personally I have to many games I want to replay (or play) and not nearly enough time. So while I'm not waiting with baited breath, I figure there is an off chance that eventually I'll get a game that I like (or be somewhat disappointed like I was...

    Fallout on GameTap

Since I do occasionally use Gametap (they have some pretty neat free games) I can say that as of a few months ago you definitely had to be online to play the games (I don't know if the game will actually cut out, but you can't launch without internet). That said, having a free version of the...

Tom Chick responds to Wired piece

I would also add that Pokemon uses a turn based combat system.

PC Gamer US Lays Hands on Fallout 3, and Shacknews too

I have seen you mention this a few times and I've been wondering where you've gotten this from? Do you think if BS releases mod tools (like you think they will) will the game be re-rated or banned because modder make kids killable. I also agree with whirlingdervish that killable kids is a...

    Gamespot Gameplay Video is Up

Eh, I would recommend waiting a few months for first the price drop and then any announcement of mod tools. Then maybe see if mods are even able to fix some of the more blatant problems. Although since you may be able to make kids killable with mods tools they may not release them after all (I...

    Fallout 3 Hands-Ons #3

I actually don't remember there being any DRM on Oblivion except a check disk system. That said, I do understand where some of these previewers are coming from since this is a preview and not a review they tend to be less critical (this game could pull an Assassin's Creed and get fairly...

No DLC on PS3 for Fo3

I actually don't understand why BS would do this. Correct me if I'm wrong but I would imagine that the income that would come from PS3 owners would outweigh any bonus from MS for exclusivity. So from a purely financial view this makes little sense. Also, I would be surprised at BS for...

No DLC on PS3 for Fo3

Thanks, I have no working knowledge of MS Live and I though someone mentioned having to pay for it. It's nice to know that Bs won't be gouging their customers quite as much.

    More Fallout 3 Gameplay Footage

Oh, I agree but my gut feeling is that we won't see it. That said, I hope those people out there who want to buy the game to mod it take a wait and see stance. I'd hate to see people buy the game to mod it and get burned. EDIT: Also, I don't mean to harp on this topic as much as I am, but...

No DLC on PS3 for Fo3

I always found that when BS dodges a question it usually means the answer is No. In addition, if they are going to make their DLCs for the PC then it stands to reason that they would not want competition which mod tools create (you get more people buying if there is no free option). Plus...

    Fallout 3 Full E3 Trailer

I don't understand why Todd didn't make it clear he was using the perk and perhaps also show what kills look like without it. Because what I saw look horrible (oh and the deaths looked bad tool :P ). But seriously people who buy it are going to wonder what happened to these "awesome" deaths...

    More Fallout 3 Gameplay Footage

I am also curious were this "patch" will be coming from. It's not like there's going to be mod tools at launch (and I highly doubt there will be mod tools at all).

No DLC on PS3 for Fo3

I highly doubt they'll be any modding tools for this. That said even if there are, mods won't be able to fix most of the crappy gameplay elements.
