i havent done it myself, but i'm prety sure it is done with a couple of scripts and an off screen item box.... you put a box off the screen and fill it with stuff, and then give it a script to re-plenish it's stocks over a period of time next you give the "trader" a script that deals with...

thanks for the plug.. but my tutorials are completely useless to him.. 1. he wants scripting help, 2. he wants it for TACTICS..... neither of which is covered by any of my FALLOUT 2 MAPPING tutorials... :roll:

not exactly "on topic" but since you're here Mr Porter... great article.. when we finally do get our fallout 2 mod up and running, is there any chance of getting it on the coverdisk? like all those HL etc mods you do? unfortunately, it might be 200+Mb in size... so maybe the DVD version..?

i was only repeating what i was told... i assumed that the editor would fall over because it is looking for lables for buttons and names for proto's and stuff in text/english unless you tell it otherwise.. did you hapen to have a / the patch installed that put a text/english directory in...

it's html only, and it's on my site.. i have no idea how to put text up on a website without it being typed line by line into the html... or cut and pasted... maybe i ought to do a college course....???
