Open world's is what 'Bethesda does' make a world that's either unbelievably packed full of stuff which makes no sense, or a more realistically sized world where it takes 5-10 minutes to get anywhere interesting.

I think if this game had been released in 2008, it'd be getting 10/10. Or not, I really can't tell anymore, i trust most reviewers as far as i can throw them. Time and time again, Bethesda release a game, get rave reviews and 12 months later everyone suddenly releases all bad things. I can't...

Yeah but Obsidian have added a lot more NPCs to it, and the gamebryo engine, being the buggy crap is it, struggles. Sure, if it was a fully optimised worthwhile engine, it'd be fine, but it's not. System requirements are probably higher due to the higher amount of NPCs.

Three days doesn't seem like much, but it's really frustrating when you know that the Steam PC Version for North America and the UK will be identical, i'm not even sure licensing issues even exist. *sigh*

Well i just hope people will continue to be as forgiving as i always am with the bugs (which i never seem to encounter personally), Obsidians the only developer who's RPGs i look forward to without a measure of dread these days.

It varies based on whether their Caeser's Legion or not. People who haven't been taught Caeser's way of saying it, IE NCR troopers etc will pronounce it the way it looks. Josh Sawyer commented on this in the best buy interview/playthrough, expressing surprise people had picked up on it.

The Language thing is fairly cool and shows a impressive level of attention to detail. They don't actually speak latin, they just pronounce latin and roman phrases such as Caeser, classically(properly) because that's the way they were taught.

You are aware New Vegas is going to have Fallout 1/2 style endings? In that there are multiple resolutions? I thought this was plainly obvious from the heavy factionalisation of the game's structure. According to one of my endings in the previous games, NCR shouldn't even exist. Of course...

Obsidian have said Fallout New Vegas will either come with an updated GECK, or it'll be downloadable on release day, i can't remember which. I saw this mentioned in a interview a few weeks ago.

Despite this, i,ve been watching playthroughs and the guy encountered the same voice twice in a row, in the same building, really easy to tell because he talked to one bloke, and then a minute later the quest was talking to another bloke who sounded exactly the same. :(

I really love the ambient music you can hear, straight out of Fallout 1/2.
