Yeah. I never actually bothered to play Ultima 9, after looking at the back of the box. Ultima Underworld 2 was excellent, though. I don't think I ever completed it, I kept getting stuck in one the worlds. edit:I put in the quote.

The part about the server attack might well be a lie, too. I'm not saying that it is, but I don't think Ubisoft is the best of sources in this case.

You might be interested in X3: Terran Conflict. It's basically a space sim, but you have a lot of freedom to explore, trade or even set up your own manufactories and assembly your own fleet of ships.

Apart from some of the generic greetings, "howdy ho" being the worst by far, I don't think the voice acting is that bad, really. Sure, it isn't exactly stellar, but I can live with it.

You should try Take Command: 2nd Manassas. It's reminiscent of Gettysburg in a lot of ways. In fact, one of the guys who made that game is making a game called Scourge of War: Gettysburg, which will hopefully be out some time this year. I'm personally looking forward to it.

I'd definitely prefer a remake of Alpha Centauri, although considering what they did with Colonization, it might be better to just leave it be.

Well, I just finished it, and while the last map was a bit disappointing (compared to the rest of the game), this is definitely the best Stalker game so far, imo. That's with the reservation that I've only played CS for 5-10 hours. I'll give it another go some time, but it didn't suck me in...

I didn't have any real problems with SoC, to be honest, but then I only recently played it, using the latest patch. I never actually got very far into Clear Sky, although I guess I'll try it again when I have time. I'll be playing CoP first, though.
