    my idea is Caesar was banding together a bunch of Tribals that didn't like each other and he needed to give them a unifying code system to buy into and bring them together and give them a sense of purpose and discipline.

    you also get the wierd simpsons alien music whenever you encounter them. captain--the indy fridge is kinda north west of johnny 5 aces. not far away at all.

    What level are you? Most deathclaws are level 20+ creatures. except for the young ones. They are like level 12.

    it didn't spawn out of nowhere, there are a whole nest of them including a giant one just southeast of town I believe.

    I have somehow not encountered any exploding cars. Enemy respawns are necessary with the map setup like it is.
