    New Radiation Warning Logo

Yes, because those experts make those symbols for other experts, and not for the 'men-on-the-street'. Maybe the new symbol isn't perfect, but how would we know?

    New Radiation Warning Logo

I love it how some people pretend to know more about symbolism than the experts, and how some are complaining about lack of aesthetics and dumbing down. Really, this symbol says "Danger" much better than the trefoil. Also, it clearly says that the new symbol will appear alongside with the old one.

Fallout 3 headed to XBox? Not unlikely

Yeah, if only more RPGs were as hardcore as Baldur's Gate... Its dialogue is crap (looks like something anyone could write without thinking first), party interaction is non-existant, combat is half-decent but boring and pointless, the quests are fucking moronic and 90% of them share the...

    Bethesda producer on Fallout

I think what he says is preety obvious. He says that Fallout 1 and 2 are good, that Fallout Tactics was decent but he never finished it, and that BoS sucked. Now, if he means it, all the better. On the other hand, if I spent some time studying the Ultima Series, I could sound very much like a...

Which aspect of it made you a Fallout fan?

RPGCodex labels year an abismal failure and predicts doom

Yes, because TES didn't have drugs, hidden BOOBIES!!1, burglary, stealing. Fuck, you can be sure that Fallout 3 will have a gritty atmosphere, drugs, hookers and shit. Because that's what the mainstream audience think of when they hear Fallout.

    Party-based gameplay in fallout 3

Of course, most ideas on this site are for a hypothetical, made-by-a-decent-company Fallout 3. With Bethesda, the less ideas they use from the "Worst Fallout 3 ideas" thread, the better.

    Party-based gameplay in fallout 3

A dog character is interesting. As for humans, I think one would be enough, but they should make him much more active during dialog. Something like PST, but with more lines to say. He should also change depending on the PCs actions, in various ways - disposition towards player, ethical beliefs, etc.

    Party-based gameplay in fallout 3

Since the lone wanderer concept seems so popular, how about having no companions at all? After all, Fallout was first designed not to include any cNPCs at all. And they didn't really add anything, except tripling your power at low levels and being pointless at high levels.

Interplay intends to start development of Fallout Online

Not in any way that would affect us, no. If anything, this will be entertaining to watch. Suppose they do manage to make the game.

Interplay intends to start development of Fallout Online

I meant the "OMG they are raping Fallout we're doomed" screams in this thread.

Interplay intends to start development of Fallout Online

Who the fuck cares? Fallout 3 made by Bethesda might be a bad thing, since another company might have done a better job with it. But since you don't care about FOOL anyway, who cares who makes it or whether it gets made at all?

BethSoft hiring designers, FO3 Lead Level Designer revealed

It's strange that Bethesda only made this offer to Morrowind and Oblivion modders. At first, I thought this was a typical job offer on their main site: http://www.bethsoft.com/links/bethsoft_jobs.html but it seems that this is not the case. Another thing is that they didn't mention "Knowledge...

Bethesda hiring level designers for Fallout 3

Oh no, Bethesda is hiring employees. Who'd have thought?

    The Easter Eggs from today?

We all agree that Fallout 2's Monty Python references sucked, right? So Bethesda should definetely not repeat that mistake. They should put Seinfeld references instead. Imagine the dripping humor of someone saying "We're not mutants. Not that there's anything wrong with that.", or NPCs fighting...

Don't vehicles ruin the whole "Lone traveler through the wasteland" feeling?

Please god, bring Sulik back >.<

Sulik was a poor attempt at making an interesting character. He wasn't funny at all, like most of the other attempts at humor in Fallout 2. The only truly interesting character in the whole Fallout series was Richard Grey. Surprisingly, BIS's next game, Planescape Torment, had some of the most...

Out of the Shadows, a Fallout 3 Lead Designer Steps

Bloodmoon had two main questlines, the werewolf prophecy and the colony, and both questlines had two different paths.
