    ROUTE66

My point was, there wouldn't be any settlements along Route 66, so how would it work, if the player had to walk along that route?

    ROUTE66

However, wouldn't settling next to a water source be more important than next to a highway?

    Ethnicity

Morrowind was full of racism and xenophoby, and that never bothered anyone.

    Ethnicity

The ONE from the first two? Are you aware that the first two fallout games had different protagonists? And only an idiot would accuse a company of being racist for making the main character a certain race. I'm disgusted of the people who keep saying things like "Having children is immoral and...

    Customizable Character

Rather than having the player's clothing automatically change, why not do the traditional way of allowing the player to CHOOSE what to wear? Besides, most of the time you'll be wearing armor anyway, well before you become an expert in anything, so what's the point?

    Fallout 3:Locations from FO2

But then, that would mean that the player's actions didn't have any consequence after all, because the same thing happens. That's why, if a past location appears in the game, they should follow a certain ending from that past game, to show that what you did did have an impact on the world.

    Fallout 3 speculation

Take this in a different direction than the TES series? Doubtful. After all, their driving simulators and horror action adventures were TES clones, right?

    Fallout 3:Locations from FO2

Sander, the problem is that they were stopped. Meaning that even if you did not stop them, someone else did. Therefore, you didn't really change the history of the world at all, since someone else would have stopped the Master anyway.

    My humble suggestion thread

Also, I hope Fallout 3 will have an editor as good as TES's.

    Nucler winter anyone?

I don't think there's any nuclear winter in the fallout world.

    My humble suggestion thread

I'm sure that you will get 2) to 5). They are not that hard to make, it would require a strong desire to fuck with the series to remove them, and Bethesda doesn't have such a desire. About 1) or 5), though, I don't know. Many people won't buy a game just because it is isometric, so that would be...

    The Vault Experiment Program

Oh, you mean: What masses? The masses were dead. The vault dwellers were most of the surviving population. I wouldn't use them as guinea pigs. Arquebus is right about making people believe there was a war - studying them would have been more useful before the war, where there was a population...

    The Vault Experiment Program

Sander, the problem is not how it could have been done, but who the fuck gives a damn about those experiments after the war? Why would the government waste money on such useless experiments?

    The Vault Experiment Program

You must have missed my point. Why would anyone want to know what would happen if a vault had only one man? Why would anyone want to study the effects of radiation upon people, when they could see them somewhere else anyway? People were only supposed to enter the vaults in the case of a nuclear...

    The Vault Experiment Program

Agrees with Sander. ;) But people were supposed to enter the vaults only in the case of a nuclear attack. So the experiments were supposed to be carried out after a nuclear devastation. Which isn't something anyone would be interested in doing, not for any reason.

    The Vault Experiment Program

99% of the world is in ashes, most of Vault Tek are probably dead, most of the remaining humans are those living in Vaults, who the hell cares about studying society anymore?

    The Vault Experiment Program

But why? Why on earth would the Enclave be interested in what happened if people had faulty equipment, or if they were exposed to radiation, or if they were all children, or if they belonged to different cultures? It's exaggerated grittiness makes it outright silly.

    'Ask About'

You don't type a question, just a keyword. For example, you ask Seth about "Shady Sands", and you get an answer.

    The Vault Experiment Program

This Vault Conspiracy thing sounds quite stupid to me (in fact, the whole Enclave was stupid). Do you think it should be taken into consideration in Fallout 3? Or should Vaults be considered genuine fallout shelters?

    Books

And?... Sorry, but I can't see how this is relevant. You couldn't read the books.
