It wasn't a rat, it was a 20 ft tall behemoth. And the nuke didn't kill it. Know your Fallout, man.

You can't be a fan of the original and then say it would be better as an FPS. That's about as far apart as it gets. That's like saying "Dr Strangelove was great, but I think it would be a lot better if they remade it as an action movie."

Now that I think about it, an 1872 Reconstruction themed future would be pretty cool. Nuclear horse carriages, nuclear howitzers... umm, nuclear Abe Lincoln... At least the game's setting would be right there.

I don't understand their argument at all... I wasn't aware that Fallout 1+2 are currently unplayable, as he seems to be saying. Since a true sequel would keep the same gameplay and improve the graphics and some other problems, calling it unplayable is calling the originals unplayable...
