    CD-Action Fallout 3 preview

Are they saying the only reason it wasn't an FPS was that it didn't have the technology or that the original would have played the same but in a first person view? Either way I must be missing something.

    Official Clear Sky information

Yes, but that could have used some work before its release.

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky

So this is really coming out in, say, 2010?

    BioShock requirements

I like Steam. It makes updating a whole lot easier and you can play any of your games on any computer. And there is a way to start HL2 without logging into Steam I think.

    BioShock requirements

I'd rather get this for PC, but now I'll probably have to get it for 360 since my PC won't cut it. I expected that, but still... And if it's 8GB, does that mean it'll be two discs for xbox?

    PC Gamer UK scans

Some do. I think an article caption said something about a community living on the aircraft carrier.

    PC Gamer UK scans

I think that's a fire hydrant... But they mention the sledgehammer in the article, saying that "old favorites are back", although they include the Fatman in their list... Has any preview pointed out how stupid the concept of the Fatman or healing by drinking stagnant wastewater is...

When are they releasing new screenshots? Most articles are just giving me the feeling that this won't be a bad game, but it won't be true to or worthy of Fallout 1+2. Although the Super Sledgehammer is apparently back. Or was that already confirmed?

New articles on Fallout 3 Blog

I think something that isn't really even mentioned is that you are able to detonate a full sized nuke on the outskirts of DC within walking distance of where you detonate it and you aren't affected. First of all, the radiation would reach you and would pretty much kill you. That, plus it sounds...

New articles on Fallout 3 Blog

Apparently you don't need to worry about much besides gun toting mutants or your car running out of plutonium, since the blast and radiation from nukes (mini and Megaton nukes) won't kill you, and drinking plague water is healthy. Jury's still out on the health benefits of eating radioactive...

New articles on Fallout 3 Blog

If I were drinking water that's been sitting in a public toilet for the last 100 years radiation would be the least of my worries. And they can't be a little more creative than water=heal?

    InsideGamer previews Fallout 3

Maybe if there were more previews like this... but I see no indication from Bethesda that the game will change much.

PC Gamer podcasts covers Fallout 3

In 2007 everything is immersive because everything is in first person. And I still don't get the point of the SPECIAL system in an FPS. Will they add a little stamina bar that won't let you jump or run when it runs out? Will your aiming be hampered intentionally?

    Fallout 3 interview on Eurogamer

Still, if everything is voice acted the conversations won't have the depth of FO 1+2 because it just takes too much effort. Besides, Bethesda has done nothing with characters in the past to show me that they have any sense of humor or anything interesting to say, regardless of how many there are.

    Fallout 3 interview on Eurogamer

Eurogamer has always been a good game site that hasn't really gone with the general opinion. I remember they were one of the few reviewers to (correctly) shit on Age of Empires 3 when it came out. Anyways, the thing that bothers me the most about Bethesda making this game is that I'm afraid...
