    JE Sawyer Formsprings #9

It's explained in the first five minutes of the game, by that nice old guy in front of the saloon. Just one in tons of factual mistakes and screw ups on the RPS review. And Sawyer should have commented, seeing as the new RPS guy calls them lazy a couple of times, going into the personal...

Fallout: New Vegas' bugs due to its size

Then you have the dreaded DX problem. I'll let you know a secret, if you do a clean install of Fallout 3 before you install New Vegas you'll get a few DX9 files in your system that will fix things up. Still the New Vegas oriented 260.99 was released today, that might help you out too. And...

Fallout: New Vegas' bugs due to its size

You are right, I'm using 260.89, was tricked by the filenames when I downloaded the thing. Anyway this driver baby is great, work with them and the CTDs will be out, at least that's my experience. Of course if you don't have DX9 files together with your DX11 you'll also get into trouble...

Tech help: Display fails after 30 seconds

Don't use the 280 drivers, use the new 300 drivers. You'll see what I mean when I say they are magical, fixed everything for me. They were only relesaed a few days ago, the official ones.

Fallout: New Vegas' bugs due to its size

For NVidia the last one, starting the 3xx.00 series, is magical. All the 2xx either bring problems or don't do nothing special, but this last one has more impact in F:NV (and Fallout 3) as I've never seen before in any game. I wished it was around during the launch of Oblivion and Fallout 3...

Fallout: New Vegas' bugs due to its size

Upgrade to the very last graphics card driver. It's magical, both New Vegas and Fallout 3 loose the CTDs and become smooth as butter.

Obsidian vs. Bethesda: Budget and Autonomy in Design?

Those are fanboy silliness ramblings, it's bogus. Whoever wrote that doesn't have a clue of what is he talking about.

Fallout: New Vegas Launch Day Reviews

Nice post Keeper, I see your point. In Planet Fallout we're going through a different process, we'll do a first impressions piece now, that three of us played 40/50 hours of the game (not me, real life isn't helping), and will each do a different review after we ended one or two...

Fallout: New Vegas bug updates, fixes and the like

Mine was activated. I thought I had a problem with the saves, but it was the autosaves leaving me in places I didn't remember. I'm playing just fine.

Potential fix for widespread, game breaking bug

Try to install DX9 and 11 first, and the latest graphics card drivers. My upgrade to the latest NVidia drivers resulted in having New Vegas and Fallout 3 as the most stable and smooth games in my hard drive in months...

Bethesda allegedly pulls negative Fallout: New Vegas review

They were taking action against that review that broke the embargo, the one made by a guy who didn't actually play the game past the first few hours, he deserved his butt kicked, but can't seem to find proof regarding the accusations. Still I respect Hsu, he's been right many times in the past...
