You are right, I'm using 260.89, was tricked by the filenames when I downloaded the thing. Anyway this driver baby is great, work with them and the CTDs will be out, at least that's my experience. Of course if you don't have DX9 files together with your DX11 you'll also get into trouble...

Don't use the 280 drivers, use the new 300 drivers. You'll see what I mean when I say they are magical, fixed everything for me. They were only relesaed a few days ago, the official ones.

ATI or NVidia?

For NVidia the last one, starting the 3xx.00 series, is magical. All the 2xx either bring problems or don't do nothing special, but this last one has more impact in F:NV (and Fallout 3) as I've never seen before in any game. I wished it was around during the launch of Oblivion and Fallout 3...

Upgrade to the very last graphics card driver. It's magical, both New Vegas and Fallout 3 loose the CTDs and become smooth as butter.

Try to install DX9 and 11 first, and the latest graphics card drivers. My upgrade to the latest NVidia drivers resulted in having New Vegas and Fallout 3 as the most stable and smooth games in my hard drive in months...
