I found Peragus to be pretty nice and dark piece of tutorial. Liked it all way long. Can't say the same thing about first KOTOR tutorial. Well, I loved 2nd game much more anyway.

You got Tribunal and Bloodmoon? Both are pretty much story-oriented and long expansions. If you're tired of "emptiness" (Still, I like Morrowind emptiness much more than Oblivion one) you should definitely check these two. And you can start them right away, without finishing the main quest.

English version of Planscape Torment. Love it so far. Funny thing is that it's my first playthrough. I've Never managed to run P:T on my PC, until now. Looks I missed pretty BIG thing there.

Morrowind had it's atmosphere. I enjoyed tiny bits of info about Dunmer lands. Everything felt "special" and nice in a way. With Oblivion I lost that feeling. Maybe some moments felt fine, but rest of the game was just... plain and boring? And Skyrim? I would love to see 5-10 huge dragons...

Icewind Dale, maybe little too fight-orientish, but hell - these are totally atmospheric games! Music, landscapes - they are really well done. I really liked 'em.
