    November Babies

I think it's regional. Valentine's Day isn't celebrated everywhere in the world, you know. The most "busy" month I know, related to people's birthdays, is September. Christmas and New Year's Eve tend to bring out the <strike>breast</strike> <strike>beast</strike> best in people, after all...

    Fallout 3 ending videos

Am I the only one that gets nothing from the site that's hosting the end-game videos? I mean, not one of them loads for me. I get the age check, and then an endless "Loading" message.

    Dead Space Ending, SPOILER's Obviously!

If this perplexed you as much as it did, I suggest not playing Fallout 3. Your head would most likely implode.

This cat has been cloned to GLOW IN THE DARK

I have it on good authority...that cat is faking it.

    4Too Appreciation Thread

It took me quite a while to learn to understand 4too. At least he's more coherent than his cousin arrtoo, which only beeps frantically at me. I gave up on trying to understand that guy. EDIT: Typo.

    The Witcher Thread

Cool, thanks for the info! This will help loads. I'm not a purist, but that "Polish speech, English subs" mod might be interesting to try out.

    Some really lame DnD monsters.

You just reminded me of something a very immature DM did to a role-playing group I know. The characters were around 5th-level and found a chest in a dungeon. The chest contained loads of potions, but one of them was made to stand out (glowing blue, lightning crackling from the bottle, etc)...

    May be another Syndicate

Vin Diesel's gaming company? This could actually be good. Let's wait and see.

    Some really lame DnD monsters.

There are no rules for +1 spoons in D&D.

The absolute rock-hard of gaming experiences

I've played the HHGTG game...and completed it. Blergh. I Want To Be The Guy a.k.a. Rick Dangerous 3. Rick Dangerous was a platformer that used hidden traps to try to kill the player. The only way to beat the game was to memorize where the traps were. Though nowhere near as nasty as IWBTG...

    Some really lame DnD monsters.

Oh man, this brings back memories of the time me and my friends lost their entire party of D&D characters to a single monster that is only worth 35 XP. I can't remember what it was called, but basically it was a tiny fungus with one eye that lurked in a corner somewhere. When it saw a...

    Corruption Perception Index 2008

I almost want to cry over this, it's so horribly wrong. I can understand French Guiana, Western Sahara and North Korea not giving any data...but Greenland? It's 50.000 people living beside a glacier, answering to Denmark. How could they not get data on that one? Maybe because it's one of...

Bethesda hunting down Fallout 3 leak

OK, I finally heard something that I think is positive about Fallout 3...assuming it's true and not just the Mother of all bugs messing with the players. Simply put: Vault 106. If it is working as intended (won't spoil it here) then it could possibly be the equivalent of the Dark Brotherhood...

Joerg Haider dies in car accident.

While en route to celebrate his mother's 90th birthday. Just about the worst birthday present any child can give its mother. For those whom are drawing blanks, Haider was the leader of two extreme right-wing political parties in Austria, The Freedom Party and the Alliance Of Austria's...

    Civilization 4: Colonization

One thing I've heard - you always make land in the same place. Also, I haven't heard anything about whether the Spring faction is included or not. It was fun to play them now and again.

Starcraft 2 campaigns to be sold separately

Heh. I would delay the game then if I was Blizzard. Isn't it the Blizzard fanboys whom keep telling us that Blizzard take their time developing their games, and don't release them half-finished or buggy? Looks like a change of policy on two of the three fronts to me.

    The Witcher Thread

The only problem I have with The Witcher is that the Enhanced Edition is not sold here where I live, and most likely never will. Looks like I have to order it from overseas. On that note, I'm looking for the UK version, not the American version. Can anyone tell me what the difference is...

Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir

Icewind Dale 2 had a good start, some memorable moments later on, one of the funniest non-combat solutions to a quest I've ever seen* and used the 3rd Ed D&D system. There, I've said all the good stuff I could think of about IWD2. And still...IWD2 is, in my opinion, better than IWD1. Doesn't...

Joystiq, Kotaku. GameSpy Fallout 3 previews

To put this into context: So he had someone tell him what the original Fallout game are about. It's never mentioned or implied just how reliable a source the other guy is, so take it as it is.
