'Mad Nation' Post-Apocalyptic TV show Megathread

Look up pictures on how the Reds threw on scopes in WW2, I think they had it hooked to the side, to not interrupt the firing mechanisms of the rifle. In fact, this is a good example, though it'd cost you $50. You might find something better, but it was the best one I could find on the first...

    Space exploration games?

Well, I wiki'd it, and it seems like my cup of tea. I may give it a shot, but I'd like to have the disk. That means going to buy the disk at GS, if they've got it.

    Anyone here play Eve Online?

It's a fun MMO, I've been thinking of retrieving my account. It's the one thing I've wanted to see in a game of the space exploration games 'genre'(as I named in my thread on the topic) , but it's online (I don't usually like to pay monthly subscriptions). That is the only thing that is making...

Any stuff related to unofficial F2 patches goes in here!

1.) Which mod you talking about here, friend? 2.) Grammar mistakes happen, most of the guys making Fallout mods are from Europe (though they do a damn fine job as it is on translation, it's not usually hackjobs from what I see)

    The Positive Thread

I'm digging how the Vault looks on the inside (in my opinion). And, I like that there is a nuke in the game (but it should be used in a different situation, such as the 'dark irony'-styled use of nukes in past FO's I've been hearing about lots recently).

    Space exploration games?

Okay, X3 is also tripping my trigger. I'm all for deep economic simulator games, so this sounds a bit like my cup of tea.

    Space exploration games?

I really couldn't think of a genre for these, so that's why I lumped them into 'space exploration games'. I really couldn't think of anything better. :? Anyway, if you've got any more, keep 'em coming. I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. Especially intrigued by Freelancer.

    Space exploration games?

Man, all of a sudden, I've been craving a space exploration game. Not like a shooter, but something along the lines of EVE Online except not online, or Escape Velocity + sequels, or even an old console classic of mine, Starflight. I've always loved these games, but I can't find anything even...

    Fallout 3 t-shirt on eBay

He'd be Goldfinger, not SPECTRE. Jeesh...

Are you a fan of zombie books, movies, etc..?

Dead Tide sounds cooler to me, if you want to know. I hope they go with that instead of 'Dark Tide'.

No particular time of the day of the dead.

I take it you didn't know that Fort Knox is the home to the largest concentration of battle tanks in the US Army's arsenal? BS if they're going to flee when they have the one thing that zombies can't take out with their brute withering strength, mass in numbers, and rapidly-diminishing...

    Fallout 3 at E3 - more plaudits

That son of a bitch! I know he used that picture without consent from the state legislature. If they're gonna make up shitty exclusivity laws about scans, then we can about shitty vacation pictures. :P [/rant-on-homeland-pride, exclusivity laws, yadda-yadda]

    The Fatman

If they make it a lot stronger, have a larger blast radius, spill out a lot more radiation, and finally have the possibility to wipe yourself out after use (explosion + mushroom clouds = teh ultimate annihilation), I'd dig it.

    Fallout 3 at E3 - Jeff Green

@ Jeff: Sup, it's cool to see someone from a mag that I read (for some odd reason, I receive a free issue of GFW every month o_O ). It's an interesting article (sort of...), and I dug your interview with Brian Fargo in there, as well. I'm sure that if we could get a little more detail on some of...

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

The rocket launcher is truly greatness in that game. I used to kamikaze people with it, all the time. Someone in a VS, you say? Call Metro, the guy with the rockets! (Metro = part of my XBL gamertag, not a gay reference...)

    Fallout 3 at E3 - TeamXbox

You're welcome. Well, anyway, it looks like some fruitful information was gleaned out of this. At least we know how many skills there may be.

'Mad Nation' Post-Apocalyptic TV show Megathread

I'm going with the Mosin-Nagant rifle. Even though I have German blood coursing through my veins, I love some of the various Soviet-era firearms. Good luck with the shooting, and I can't wait to download the finished product (will it be free for download?).

    Interplay pays up

Bah. It's not that bad. What's worse is when cigarette companies use child mascots to promote their product.[/TRUTH] Okay, I've got nothin'.

EA says: games industry is boring people to death

I'm with you on that one, Sander. We need more complex interfaces, to comb out the idiots in the gaming population! More dialogue, to crush the mentally handicapped of us! And, puzzles that take more than a few tries to figure out!

    BioShock requirements

But, it takes an extra five minutes to crack, and that's what counts. ;) Anyway, I'm sorta thinking it's a bit BS with the internet activation, as well. It is true that it does cut down on pirating a bit, but they're stupid to do it on later releases of the game, if it's already cracked and...
