I cant get the game before next week. I'm kind of dying inside.
Still feeling really mixed about it. Somehow im afraid that it will have no immersion due the plastic looking world and mechanics. Since I started playing F3 I liked it for a while and had great hype for it(didnt read nma or such...
I somehow hate the interior modelings. It makes the houses feel like sealed shoeboxes. Since there are no windows and so on.
Okay, the mutant looks stupid. No improvements there. And the physics seem to be still from outer space. Also, the same old guy from Fo3 and those sunglasses. And...
Oh guys, go play outside, someone might get hurt.
Anyway, my hype is growing. Its not going to be nothing like original fallout's but it is going to be a damn well done Action-rpg.
1. More mad max, less sci-fi-enclave-superweapon-shit.
2. Grim atmosphere, not the "shootmutantsdisneyland"
3. Good twisted humour.
4.DEPTH
5(bonus): Loonie named B.E tesha, that makes his own versions of grognak the barbarian-comics
I'll probably find it entertaining for the first 20 hours. After that comes the turning point. Then it will be seen is it good game or even a good fallout-game.
Since this is the only way(though being the beth way) that new fallout game is able to come true(okay, besides fan projects and...
Not in the one I would like to be.
What I ment was the primary meaning of that eyebot was to show that "[bethesdas] Fallout is now going to Vegas from D.C" AND it will probably be found crashed somewhere(would fit the fo3 style "umm... haha?"-humour writing).
I personally hope it was just something like "Fallout is now going to Vegas from D.C". I found that wandering eyebot sympathic, would be nice eastern egg.
And how about deadbeat Col. Autumn staring in to his drink in corner of a strip bar?
Pro:
-The strip looks nice
-New-old critters
-Crucifiction! Thats kinda ballsy thing to have in game.
Con:
-Caesars leginionists look stypid and seem to be idiots without tactics. (like c'mon, why couldnt few ncr rangers with m16's whipe 'em off?)
-Animations
-Mirelurks on desert...
Well, the mr. manchester and other mods of that series were fun. So, few puzzles please, and as it is bethesda-game, they would probably be optional. So, they should reward the player for solving them.
