For fellow writers: How do you motivate yourself?

Sounds like the way to go. Also, broken image.

For fellow writers: How do you motivate yourself?

Oh man, I would just LOVE to write dialogue for NPCs, the lore of a game, and so forth. Turning this alternate Fallout universe that I thought up into a total conversion mod for a Fallout game, let it be Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas or Tactics, would be a dream come true for me.

    Alternate Fallout 1

Although India would have been the world's second strongest power in this alternate Fallout universe, tied with Japan, it could still have been torn apart by Axis invasion, even if you have America, Brazil and the other big Allied powers supporting India. Untapped oil reserves under the Bay of...

    Alternate Fallout 1

Hate to shamelessly bump this, but it's the 29th, I'm starting my new job tomorrow, and I want to get something done. If I am to complete the first chapter of this story, a discussion about it is going to have to be started, because discussions about my works and the fictional universes...

For fellow writers: How do you motivate yourself?

Yeah, Planescape: Torment! Never played it, but I have listened to the soundtrack, and man do I wish I owned the game. Mark Morgan and Black Isle RPG games go together like bread and butter, I tell you.

Do you also dip bread in the blood of your enemies and eat it while you write with their blood as well?

Music is something that definitely helps me out a bit with writing. Mark Morgan's "Vault of the Future" may aid with the current setting in my story so far.

Makes a lot of sense, actually. Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.

For fellow writers: How do you motivate yourself?

Something that I'd post parts of on a website, most likely. Yeah, getting recognized and getting feedback really does motivate me. I normally write my stuff on Google Docs, and my current story is about 7 pages long right now.

For fellow writers: How do you motivate yourself?

I've been wondering this, since I'm starting my job tomorrow, and I'd like to get as much work on one of my stories done as possible before then, and also because my preferred way of motivation, discussions about my works, is really lacking right now. So, as said in the title, how do you...

What if you were in the fallout universe ?

Let's see. I think I might try and make my way towards the Siksika 146 reservation, and even though I'm only a quarter Native, I'll try and fit in with the population. This is assuming that the Siksika 146 reservation hasn't been nuked to almighty hell.

JE Sawyer on the GRA item pack

Nice to see J.E. Sawyer's answers on this. However, it saddens me to see that there's only going to be one Bozar in the game, for all that I know. :( Oh well, at least they're adding it.

    gun runner's arsenal your thoughts?

Gun Runners' Arsenal looks pretty wicked, in my opinion. Can't wait to get my hands on the Bozar again!

Lonesome Road coming September 20th + weapon pack DLCs

27 new weapons, 29 new ammo types and 40 new weapons mods. All for a couple bucks. Holy cow, Obsidian is being far too kind to us.

    An alternate Fallout universe

With reading from a second-person narration, it helps when you try to "become" that character, regardless of age, gender or race. When I read a second-person narration, it helps when I see things from a point of view that I think the character would have. It may be harder than with a...

    An alternate Fallout universe

I actually wrote it in the second person, in which one example sentence would instead be "You were dancing," instead of "She was dancing," as in third person or "I was dancing," as in first person. I'm glad that you liked it so.
