Yep you are right, I just did a fresh install and it's working with the same type. I have copy pasted the fixed critter file into a fresh install and it's working now, dunno if it will serve anything.

I am having a problem with that patch, when I use it, everytime I try to play f2 I crash to desktop after the loading screen. I think it's because I also have a program called orcad pspice in my computer that uses the same file type, right now my critter file is a probe document type. Any idea...

I understand a mod, specially a mod in development needs files, but giving a few more proper names to each file wouldn't be too hard and it would make installation a lot more easier to a person that has basic computer knowledge.

What's with all the mod files, it's beggining to look like one of those puzzles for kids, you even got two files with the same name :crazy:
