Ozrat, the great thread derailer........... I heard it on the radio yesterday. I think its basically about some Islamic, lesbian woman that advocates greater tolerance towards everyone. Of course that attitude isn't liked by fundamentalists who have issued many death threats to her.

The software you use usually gives you an option which region you want to view the dvd. Most dvd drives come with a viewer program which is shareware. These progs have a limit on the number of times you can view a dvd from another region. Buying a full version, I assume would get rid of this...

I played the Rise of Nations Demo. Nice graphics but the game itself sucked. Nowhere near as good as Civ. Maybe it would have been better as TB.

K, good deal. Did you install the game to the default directory on the full install?? Maybe that was part of the problem if you didn't.

I get the impression you didn't patch the game. The patch should have gotten rid of this problem. Unfortunately you will have to go back to an earlier save after applying the patch.

Are the sprites showing in the entity editor and also the level editor on that specific mission?

I dunno about the mods, but you can always try any of the custom missions. They are all fun to play. Dove, the game itself should still be available from the Interplay store.
