Those screenshots weren't compared to finished, complete products, but with other kickstarter projects, whose screenshots were likely from "work in progress" areas as well. I'm not saying that the finished Wasteland 2 game will look as bland and crappy as it does now, but the "work in progress"...

So if we are not allowed to criticise those screenshots because they are "work in progress!11" what's the point of them showing them to us, or what's the point of this thread at all?

I agree the artists at InXile leave a lot to be desired.. Rick Lion - which software do you use for your renders?

Writing and my imagination for new sceneries is still strong, but there are missing scripters and people to finish some last few animations for a few critters so that I can release the demo. So, thats why I am about to try to learn more about the modelling and especially lighting etc. Here...

Saints Row is pretty much the definition of trying too hard. Some people like it, some don't.

This. If it would be for that, I'd be much more comfortable with the legion rather than the clown show that there is now. How are they supposed to be "menacing" to other people when they dress as if they were out of the carnival
