Sadly PS4 users, if you read the comments all around, they are pretty excited to pay for mods. I would go into why that's stupid, but my brain would collapse.

So you know how Bethesda said they would localize the mods.. I mean, "Content" You do realize that they are just going to esmify it right. Fancy way of being lazy. They think that if you esmify a mod, master it won't conflict with other mods. esps, this is true, but they will conflict with other...

It isn't my goal to shame anyone, just calling things as I see them. If someone were to join the Creation Cult I'm so out of the picture I don't care. But for some to go to great lengths to say they are 100% opposed to it, then join it 2 years later seems like selling out. Case and point...

I don't want to open a can of Fallout 4.. I mean shit here, but, I thought so long as one has a copyright, they don't have to specify anything. It is the responsibility of the person making money from it to attain license. If it were how you mentioned, every company would be repackaging all the...

I had another thought. Let's say, Trainwiz who has confirmed to be in the beta, just happened to use assets from a resource on nexus. Didn't get permission. Bethesda curates his, err not a mod mod thing (From now on I will refer to things that appear to be mods as mods). Adds it to the base...

I think I get why they are saying it isn't paid mods now. The steam system allowed people to pay the mod author through steam but the mod author only got a portion. The new system is users paying Bethesda for mods. Bethesda is paying modders to work on mods much like Patreon, except Bethesda...

They have one alternative. Stop feeding Zenimax money. [PS4]After a month of buying mods and seeing PC user getting it for free, I'm sure they will ponder what they are doing with their money... maybe not.

Googled the internet for Fuck paid mods and got this: Seems to be the same feeling now, only difference is that the PC crowd only accounted for maybe 10% of sales. If the console crowd does go hostile, the modders who made the choice to do this will have 10 times the angry people after them. I...

Negative. I don't think Bethesda will allow naughty bits to have their official Zionist-Dollars on them, but, on the plus side, Elder Scrolls might canonize toilets and re-canonize soap! Don't be sad @RangerBoo Let the magic of the recorder whisk you away.

If it's "New" and "Official" With Bethesda's Dolla-bucks on it, yeah. Do you know what the definition of canon is? :)

I have to admit, it will be pretty funny when all the fans realize that 'technically' all of these horse armor and my little pony mods become canon. Future Lore I'm serious. It will be "Official" UESP and Fallout Wikia will have a field day :)

Paid mods strike back, THE topic

The only thing that I would disagree with is that, they say no old mods, but that doesn't mean old content, like creatures, weapons, housing decorations that have been used before. Meaning that one could very well, just repackage older assets. If it were 100% new, it wouldn't use anything from...

Thought I should add too. One of the lies in the Creation Club is that the "mods will not be incompatible." Now, I've been modding for about 10 years now, what I know of conflicts is that a conflict arises when Mod A edits the same thing as Mod B. So with this international common logic, How do...

That`s why we need to remind them every now and then that they have yet to make a Fallout game that has a higher score than FNV on Steam, Actually, they haven`t made any game with a higher score then FNV. No matter how many people they pay to bring their scores up, they will always be second banana.
