So which does NMA think is more important: worldbuilding or the overall experience?

...Fallout let's you go through the same stage multiple ways. That's layered gameplay. I don't even...ugh. Splitting hairs is why I shortened mine years ago. Seems the solution here is similar. Pedantics certainly do evoke a similar kind of pain.

A Fallout Game Set in Europe

No, you're just not addressing what I'm actually saying. And? So it's not exactly the same? Why does this matter? You just keep saying 'that's not the way it is'. 'The feeling would be different'. We're discussing 'what if: something different'. That's the topic. We already know that much. So...

    So I've played Fallout 4...

You would have to suggest that Fo3 and Fo4 are equally terrible at every non-combat thing for it not to be, and that's just false equivalency so yeah...double standard.

    So I've played Fallout 4...

That's not how argumentation works. Grow up. I asked. You did not clarify. Don't be childish. -proceeds to mention things that are missing- I suppose you're just returning the favor by making my argument for me, but this is just getting silly. Wat. If you're just going to write gibberish...

    Best weapon in Fallout 3?

If we're going by effectiveness then it's the Metal Blaster. Outside of VATS, every beam of this laser shotgun can get a decent crit, which altogether adds up to incomparable damage output. It fires fast, has a sizeable ammo cap, and is accurate enough to be useful at mid-range. So this amounts...

So which does NMA think is more important: worldbuilding or the overall experience?

I said my piece. I didn't feel like belaboring a point that I explained clearly. Simply put, if people want more effort on my part, then they need to make an effort to understand. Which is reliably indicated by whether or not they can explain which part lost them. By layered I meant this: if...

    So I've played Fallout 4...

If you don't argue your case, then we have no reason to accept it. The action side is improved as you can actually free aim properly, there's a sprint feature, etc (this is me, making your argument for you, because you're still to dense to figure out how to do it yourself), but at the cost of...

A Fallout Game Set in Europe

My point is that it shows how westerns aren't purely an American thing, nor is their aesthetic incompatible with Europe. Spaghetti westerns are also called Italian style westerns. Many were filmed in Europe. Most were not originally made in English. One might also note that westerns and samurai...

    So I've played Fallout 4...

On the other hand... Fo4 looks smoother, but its level design is really samey. By contrast: there's barely even anything to communicate what locations are before the game tells you with text. The stories told by locations rarely have any arc to them. Iconic flair is mostly absent. Etc...

    So I've played Fallout 4...

The ironic thing is that you haven't actually explained why you think any aspect of Fo4 is improved. You just kept saying 'this is better'.

I don't know how I could have been clearer, so I'll just let ya know that my reply was not understood. Not that it matters.

    Future Fallout Power Armor Ideas

It wasn't an idea. That was just the best they could do in engine. For my part I'll always remember going to New Reno with power armor for the first time, only to be told that I belong in a different game.

A Fallout Game Set in Europe

Two words: spaghetti western. I also think you're overstating the level of americana in the originals which I've been playing for the past month.

So which does NMA think is more important: worldbuilding or the overall experience?

That seems shallow to me. What narrative significance is there to catching a train as opposed to happening to get a ride from a friend? The outcome is identical. They could differ though, I'll grant you that, and each could be a distinct playstyle...but that would only lead to cycling through...

So which does NMA think is more important: worldbuilding or the overall experience?

Isn't that more like 'this or that' than it is yes or no? I think he meant no would mean not doing something, as opposed to doing another (real) option.

So which does NMA think is more important: worldbuilding or the overall experience?

I prefer it when the lore is expanded, not lazily rewritten. The only way to excuse retcons is either if they're trivial (soda), or genuinely well written (vault 13 being a control vault could have factored into Jacoren's motives). Supermutants outside of West Tek and Mariposa is contrary to...

    Laddie Alien Reference?

"With the help of Laddie (and IN = 10), you can have a very interesting conversation about pre-War times and aliens." http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Jonny_is_missing._Find_him_and_bring_him_home_to_Balthas Couldn't find it in game. I checked Johnny, Laddie, and Bathias dialogue files too but...

Fo2: Doctor Skill Need Bypassed by Lenny?

For crippled limbs, quests needs, and whatever use that isn't just healing hp: what can Lenny do, to de-necessitate investing in the Doctor skill? Oops, I think I selected the wrong category. This should be in gameplay help right?
