More guns is OK, paying $4 for it is not. Even if it's like 20 new unique weapons, that doesn't cover it. I mean, it's just $6 less than an actual DLC.
Try having a low repair skill or only repairing your gear on vendors. My max wallet size has been something like 60,000 caps, and I'm fine with that, it's not like I spend it any more than I would if I had one sixth of that amount.
Around 250, including HH and OWB and 6 different characters. I wonder if I'll ever get tired of restarting the game and making always a different kind of character. I usually put most of my skill points on Guns, Repair, Survival and Melee.
I like to use the one Heck Gundersson has at the Ultra Luxe, even though the only good thing about it is the size and style. Can't remember if you can even use the beds there.
Brush gun with HP ammo, riot shotgun or Oh Baby! are the usual weapons of choice when I'm facing Cazadors. Sometimes I snipe them from a distance with Christine's COS sniper rifle. Recently I've adopted the habit of raping everything with the Survivalist's rifle. It's a beast, even though the...
On my first playthrough, I spared both Mobius (for allowing me to mix mentats with vodka, boo-yeah) and the Think Tank (for being quirky). Probably the hardest DLC yet. Hopefully The Lonesome Road can top that, in difficulty, I mean.
God damn you all. All this speculation is getting me more and more hyped. I gotta' give it to you people, some of these speculations sound pretty solid.
The part about the Courier delivering a package to the Divide before the beginning of NV is my favourite, though.
I finished this DLC today and even though it wasn't "Laughing my ass off"- funny, it kept me smiling most of the time. Not as good as Honest Hearts in my opinion, but pretty close. I have yet to play Dead Money.
Oh, and Muggy was way funnier than I expected.
By the way...
I'm having a little problem with getting to the strip. I've already made the credit check, done pretty much stuff for Mr. House, took the "Kill the BoS" quest and now I can't get back to the strip.
Help, anyone?
And he sure does bitch every time when you crouch about his back :D
EDIT: Am I the only one who can imagine a picture made by alec where the Courier shoots Raul in the head, shouting: "Fuck you Raul, I'll crouch whenever I feel like it!"
Dialogue, story, acting, overall quality (except for the mechanic side)
Oh, and harder Super Mutants. I'm at level 11 and I still am no match to the State of Utolbitha :D
Well, Fallout 3 had Moira which reduces the overall quality pretty damn much :D
But anyway, glad to see that NV has some unique and interesting characters in it instead of the people that ask you to go cripple yourself for the sake of survival.
