Try having a low repair skill or only repairing your gear on vendors. My max wallet size has been something like 60,000 caps, and I'm fine with that, it's not like I spend it any more than I would if I had one sixth of that amount.

On my first playthrough, I spared both Mobius (for allowing me to mix mentats with vodka, boo-yeah) and the Think Tank (for being quirky). Probably the hardest DLC yet. Hopefully The Lonesome Road can top that, in difficulty, I mean.

Well, Fallout 3 had Moira which reduces the overall quality pretty damn much :D But anyway, glad to see that NV has some unique and interesting characters in it instead of the people that ask you to go cripple yourself for the sake of survival.
