    Zippy's Thread

Yeah, I played and reviewed the original version (not the re-release) and it was extremely good for short play sessions, but the loading screens, linear progression and constant back and forth missions prevented me from finishing it. I believe that the re-release fixes a lot of that and the game...

Fallout 3 Point Look(out) DLC Rumour

I agree that it sounds like a remote or mouse, but that is just me interpreting the caveman lingo. "Look! Point!" "Yes Grag, that is what this is for, it is for pointing at what you look at".

5 Things The Elders Scrolls V Shouldn't Do

Now I never finished Oblivion for a few reasons... I found it charming and vast but the general system got on my nerves. That game is MADE to be broken: 1) Not every encounter levels with you. I dont want to fight bandits with the best armor and magic weapons because I went up a few levels...

The Obligatory "What are you listening to" Thread

Lots of Red Elvises because they gave me permission to use their music for yet unreleased mod (the agent of the 2nd band has not yet given me permission). Still FO3 players will be able to listen to some great non english rock and roll soon.

Fallout 3 Game Add-On Pack Confirmed

While this does not affect me in any way I think they would have been smarter to include Broken Steel, even if it means waiting a month. I'm sure that a lot of non broadband people are interested in The Pitt and Anchorage but more than anything they probably want the game extending Broken Steel.

    Bet on New Vegas

There are some nice radioactive sites in Fallout 3 but they arent as scary as in FO AND FO2, I think it is because radioactivity is very easy to measure in 3 and you can buy a home device that wipes your rads (which I got with my first character but no longer purchase). As for rewards for...

The Pirate Bay - Guilty as charged?

That is what I hate about what is going on... they are like "see these guys with the torrent indexing site? Now imagine that they where using child pornography to purchase nuclear weapons and give them to terrorists... we need to stop piracy now, by treating pirates like child porn white slaving...

What we'd like to see in New Vegas?

That I would like, I always wished that the brotherhood of steel where guys with good weapons and armor and then their leaders have power armor, because power armor is such a game changer. It is honestly the one thing I would remove from Fallout if I could go back in time, but I know lots of...

    What is wrong with Mexico?

Yup, I grew up in Sinaloa (do a search for Sinaloa Cartels) and it was messed up, a friends dad used to be a pilot for drug dealers and he had all kinds of weapons stashed. Also a lot of metal gates had AK-47 holes and every kid knew which house was a drug dealer house (nice big ones). Rich kids...

    What is wrong with Mexico?

As somebody who grew up in Mexico let me say: yes. Soon the Mayan death god will ride across the world on an infected swine distributing drugs and earthquakes like candy. Nah, actually earthquakes are common in Mexico city, as are diseases given the population density. As for the drug trade...

Got into the Battlefield Heroes closed beta.

Of course they dont send me a confirmation until Monday morning when I have to get ready for work, so all I got to do was install, create my first "hero" and play one match. This is going to be really nice though, so far it is really fun, I like the simple graphics and it looks like it will have...

What would be your take on a storyline for New Vegas

Yeah, I would like to see more population in general. I dont care if it takes some randomly generated citizens, It has never bugged me in any other game. And if random characters include some mercenaries, merchants, repair people and doctors then it makes some variety between one playthrough...

    Mafia 2

I enjoyed the first Mafia game, especially the music. Hopefully they will steal a little from the Godfather game, it had some flaws but also a lot of stuff it did really well.

    Baldur's Gate Series

I dont remember 1, 2 was excellent though. It is fine that you dont know anything about D&D, you will figure things out just fine and it helps that in computer games somebody is rolling all the dice for you. Especially Baldurs 2 sets a high standard for companions, most of them have side...
