Honestly given the fact that valve takes years to put stuff out, I dont mind paying a little and getting everything one year after the first release, especially with some core changes.

Half the things they mention are what have me enthused for the new game (I love the daylight scenes) and the other half are not that huge a deal. People on the net like to complain though, that is the way it always is.
